It didn;t even occurto me until Christopher brought it up. Personally I don't think that she is warming to the idea of having kids with Chris. I think that she is almost imagining kids with Luke when she is discussing it with Sookie and I feel she is right to because having kids with anyone else except from Luke would be a travesty I feel and they belong together. It did read more like a love letter to me, but Chris shouldn't have gotten so offended by it. Just because Lorelai was doing a nice thing for Luke doesn't necessarily have to mean that she doesn't love Chris. Chris and Dean are similar in that way. They get offended by everything and are extremely sensitive. But, Dean was still the best one for Rory, not Jess and never Logan. They made Richard's heart attack a lot more dramatic than the angina attack in Season 1. They did actually show him collapsing this time and they ended the show like that, which made it even more scarier. I think that a lot of the fans would automatically think that he dropped dead right in the middle of the classroom. But, if you use common sense, Gilmore girls would never kill off a main character just like that. That would have been way too surprising and harsh of them.
