Gilmore Girls Actors Up for Scream Awards

Voting is now open for the 2009 Scream Awards hosted by Spike TV. The Scream awards honor the best in comics, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. Last year, both Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia attended the awards.

Gilmore Girls actors up for awards include:

• Billy Burke (Alex) for Twilight, which is nominated for The Ultimate Scream, Best Fantasy Movie and Best Ensemble. Other actors in the movie are also nominated for Scream awards.
• Jared Padalecki (Dean) for Friday the 13th, which is nominated for Best Horror Movie
• Todd Lowe (Zack) for True Blood, which is nominated for Best TV Show and Best Ensemble, along with other actors up for awards.

Perhaps surprisingly, neither Heroes nor Supernatural made it to finalists for “Best TV Show.”

The fourth annual Scream Awards will be televised on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27th at 10pm. You can vote for your favorites up until October 17th!
