ABC Family will start re-airing Gilmore Girls from the start of Season 1!
Starting on Wednesday November 7th with the Pilot, Gilmore Girls will air every week day on Family at 5/4c
crushable.com will be your source to re-live Gilmore Girls. Either watch along on DVD or watch it daily on Family.
Each day, we will talk about the episode of Gilmore Girls that is scheduled to be on tv. Since that is 5 episodes per week, I won’t be able to provide huge detail on the episodes as I did during live seasons. But, I will open up some observations and some screencaps, and we can discuss the episodes together.

Why doesn’t ABC family show the 7th season instead of going back to the first? Oh well, that still sounds like it will be awesome.
First season is still the best season.
I have 1-6 on DVD as well… but this is good for those who dont!
I think they cannot show the 7th season yet because of distribution rights. My guess is they need to wait a certain time period before they can air them.

I have all the seasons on DVD but I still love catching on TV and I’ve been checking every day to see if they were back to square one yet!
I’m a Dean and Rory lover so I love the early seasons.

I have most of the seasons on DVD, and I hope to get the others soon. I hope they keep the episodes running for awhile. Definately one of my favorite shows.

I know the seventh season is about to come out and does anyone know if there will be extras on the DVD Complete Series boxset that wouldn’t already be on Seasons 1-6. Just wondering if there were any extras.
yea, they won’t be airing season 7.. which is fine with me. its def not the greatest.

The 9/8c or 5/4c thing refers to our time zones and the fact that networks often broadcast shows simultaneously across the country. We have four main time zones in the US, Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Western, and by convention they show Eastern time first. This way people in the other zones know to adjust accordingly.

You are so lucky guys to have all the seasons on DVD and being aired again on the ABC. Here in Italy the seventh season was suspended after the 7th episode because the ratings were not good and now we have to wait until January to see the rest… Then we’ll have to wait for at least some months to get the DVDs. It’s so unfair. Please, mourn with us.

Why can’t ABC Family have the 7th season of The Gilmore Girls shown right now? Why do they start all over with the 1st season without ending now with the last season? And, yes, I do think that they should have a two hours movie starring all of the cast(wonderful cast, by the way!) It was certainly a very frustrating end to a wonderful show! I will miss it!

Does anyone know if ABC Family will show Season 7 this time around? I know they’re currently in the middle of season 6. From someone who is watching GG for the first time on ABC Family, I sure hope so!
