GMA Lists Hottest Toys of 2008!

Good Morning America covered the annual Toy Fair in New York City which kick-starts the new year, unveiling the most amazing toys!  Here’s a look at three of the featured toys!  Click here to learn more about the 2008 Toy Fair.

Kota the TriceratopsKota the Triceratops

Playskool goes prehistoric with Kota the Triceratops dinosaur.  Measuring over 40 inches tall, the toy features sensors in nine areas on his body (it is kind of big, though, isn’t it?  Could make storage a bit of a hassle).  Kota will react to touch by moving his head, tail and horns. Kids can also press a button on the riding handle to play adventure-themed songs.  Six D batteries are required but not included. Watch a video and learn more about Kota.

Approximate Retail Price: $300; Ages 3 years & up; Available: Fall 2008

Hulk Smash Hands Hulk Smash Hands

Just in time for the new “Hulk” movie starring Edward Norton, these fun gloves will be a smash hit with kids. The best part? These giant green foam hands also make crime-fighting sound effects (and the worst part will be how annoying the “awesome” sound effects become, lol).  One size fits all.

Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Ages 3 & up; Available: May 3, 2008

Remote Control Wallcrawler Spiderman

This fall, Spiderman will scale walls everywhere with the Wallcrawler. Amazing motorized vacuum-pump technology allows Spidey to literally crawl up and down walls at your command: an infrared controller that attaches to the wrist allows kids (and adults) to control the wall-crawlin fun!

Approximate Retail Price: $49.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Fall 2008

  1. Kota The Triceratops

I just love kota, that cute little dinosaur will sell-out in shops across the country, come the festive season. Note that he doesn’t actually walk, this has the advantage of requiring less floor space for him to operate… What will they think of next!

  2. Roboquad

I think the fact that he cant walk around actually makes this a negative as pect, especially for the price
