Since several websites are starting to pick up the story, I thought this would be a good time to make note of Lindsay Lohan’s response to Gossip Cop about the rumor that Lindsay skipped on a bar tab.
According to the rumored story, Lindsay was having a good time at Crown Bar in LA until the bar tab came.
The story said Lindsay told the waitress to have Twilight star Kellan Lutz pay for it and skipped out on the bill.
Lindsay told Gossip Cop the story is “absurd.”
“I don’t like champagne and I barely know the kid,” Lindsay told Gossip Cop.

On Friday, Lindsay tweeted about gossip on blogs, though I don’t think she was referring to this story.
“is it even legal to say such things like these bloggers do? isn’t it defamation of character!?!? slander maybe? anyone? lol”

yeah i agree belfastchild3. drugs and alcohol are just manifestations of deeper problems with her father & childhood…she needs to treat the disease not the symptoms. but she does need to get off the substances to save her (physically) first and foremost.
you know, any person would have problems stemming from these issues – lindsay’s have just been even more compounded with 24/7 access to money, drugs and parties.
i cannot believe comments on x17, etc. “just overdose & die already” and worse…people have no compassion, it makes me sick.
Who knows what demons Lindsay has in her head and I’m not talking about previous drug and alcohol abuse. From what I’ve seen and read about her father recently (in reputable newspapers) this guy is the root of her problems. God only knows what she suffered. Lindsay needs therapy, NOT rehab, she needs to come to terms with her childhood.
She is learn fast from the mistake. we just give her time and support her. i hope she will be better everyday. take care beautifull.
lindsay is wonderfully talented and i totally support her…but i’m starting to think more and more she’s seriously is at a point where she needs to take responsibility and actively get some help if she wants to move forward in her life…
she has a history of (overly) defending her behaviour & putting on a brave face (which is understandable, especially for someone in her situation)…
but many people would believe she is back on drugs/drinking in excess again. just LOOK at her to know she is not well. although with the family history she has, most people would be carrying around serious baggage too.
no matter how much you care for someone, sometimes people need tough love – instead of blindly agreeing and enabling.
she’s a special girl, i just hope she takes care of herself & finds the right people to help her along the way this time.

i think it was mostly meant about the “party in the bathroom” incident
