The CW has released an extended promo for Monday’s episode of Gossip Girl 3.5 “Rufus Getting Married.”
We saw in the first couple of previews that Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) is planning to cause problems for Rufus and Lily on their wedding day by threatening to tell Scott’s (Chris Riggi) secret. She wants Dan’s (Penn Badgley) new love interest Olivia (Hilary Duff) out of the way and appears to be willing to do whatever she can to get her way.
Why, oh why, did Dan think it was a good idea to sleep with Georgina in the first place? I mean, he’s a smart guy, but didn’t he think that Georgina is not the kind of girl you want to have on your bad side, especially as an ex-girlfriend or ex-plaything. No, they didn’t have a real relationship, but in Georgina’s eyes she sees it differently.
In this clip, it appears that Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) will have to help Georgina if she wants to protect Scott’s secret (Vanessa and Scott sorta have a relationship). And nobody wants to ruin a wedding, but I’m curious if Georgina ends up doing it anyway.
Also, I’m curious to see what Chuck (Ed Westwick) is upset about at the wedding. He pulls Blair (Leighton Meester) away. Is he upset with Bree (Joanna Garcia), Nate’s (Chace Crawford) love interest, or is it Carter (Sebastian Stan) and Serena (Blake Lively)?
