Sooo… After I whined about the lack of promos available for next week’s Gossip Girl, I received this slideshow from CW:

Yep, it’s the controversial promo that everyone has been buzzing about. What do you think?

I would not exactly call them promos, but the ad is very well done.
You think?
I dunno.
I think that they kind of denigrate the storylines a little and make it look like all of the emphasis on the show is on sex.
Other thoughts?
[...] up on the OMFG promos, here is the print ad [...]
-hmmm. OMFG, so true.
kelly i actually agree, you make true point. my friend saw the vid and has never seen the show (i showed it to her!) and she was lie “what the heck, this lots like a semi-prono show. what r they trying to say?” and i agree with her, what r they to say, that the new season is all sex, sex, sex!!!! not something for the group of teens should be seeing. but that is me personally!
They dropped the F,… it is now just OMG
does anybody know what song this is? i really like it.
The song is “Sour Cherry” by the Kills.
its like telling us more sex this time round? no good no good!
This is disgusting. You are sending young girls back into the Stone Ages. Why not put an emphasis on ANYTHING but sex. Girls are viewing themselves as nothing but sex objects.
WB must be desperate for ratings. Why not hire better writers??? Your ad is pathetic and cheap. I hope the creators in the ad dept don’t have children…. I wish you nothing but Bad Luck WB!!! No wonder your ratings on all of your shows are in the toilet.
