Kristin at E! Online is reporting TONS of Gossip Girl spoilers in her new column, mostly about Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle).
Gossip Girl sources are telling her it’s possible that we will be able to watch webisodes of Lily and Rufus in their late teen years in the future (if the rumors are true).
As we found out in the last episode, The Magnificent Archibalds, Eric (Connor Paolo) reads the file on his mom Lily in Bart’s safe, learning that she too spent time in a sanitorium. He confronts her about it, but she said she’s not ready to talk about it yet.
According to Kristin at E! Online as well as other spoiler sources, Lily didn’t spend the time there because she was losing her mind or anything like that. Kristin’s hint is that it was because she was “wrestling with hormones and hunger.” This would be the secret baby spoiler that I mentioned recently. According to the spoilers, Lily gave the baby up for adoption and Rufus doesn’t know yet. Who wants to bet this all comes out in next year’s episodes.
Also, Kristin at E! confirms the funeral episode will air on December 8 and has been told it’s one of the best episodes ever and will leave us all in tears. I can’t wait!
This means that someone will definitely DIE on the next episode on Monday, December 1.
Other spoilers have said that the death will clear the way for two people to get together — that would be Lily and Rufus by my deduction, as I’m guessing the rumors are true that Bart Bass will die.
Another way we know Bart is the one to die: Jack Bass, the 30-year-old brother of Bart will come into the picture, and (spoiler) tries to take over the company, Kristin says.
Here’s a spoiler update on the “hot” young teacher that will soon be cast on the show: Kristin at E! says she will be a “significant part.” One can only guess that she will be hooking up with one of our favorite Upper East Side boys. Any guesses?
