Fashion is such a huge part of Gossip Girl that it’s not surprising that the fashion industry would take notice. IMG Models, which reps such Hollywood starlets as Drew Barrymore and Hilary Duff, has signed 14 year old Taylor Momsen.
Momsen has made no secret of her love for the fashion industry – landing hot tickets at major shows during Fashion Week and dressing in some pretty fashion forward outfits. Yet, it’s not clear exactly what she’ll be doing with IMG – print, runway, commercials – all of them?
My guess? I think she’s totally going to do her own fashion line aimed at a younger market a la Jessica Simpson and the Olsen twins… We’ll wait and see.
