I have a feeling this issue of the Rolling Stone magazine is going to be popular.
Rolling Stone’s photo shoot with photographer Terry Richardson mostly focuses on the sexiness of Blake Lively and Leighton Meester. The pillow fight – adorable. You just want to be there to join in the fun. The bed scene – all the guys with their shirts off – Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley joining the girl cast members Lively, Meester, Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen for a little nap.
Taylor has her darker eye makeup on, so it’s like she’s saying, “I’m not Little Jenny anymore” in this photo shoot.
It’s so “nasty” but it’s so good. But that’s what makes Gossip Girl what it is in a way. It’s so “bad for you” that you just can’t stop yourself for watching. It’s a guilty pleasure.
Do I think the photos of Blake and Leighton sharing the ice cream cone are going to help the ratings? I don’t think it can hurt. I can imagine guys drooling over the photos. Of course, just as many girls might drool over the guys. So it’s a win-win for the show, the cast and the magazine.
