Gossip Girl recurring actor Sebastian Stan, who plays Carter Baizen, will star in a supernatural horror movie The Apparition with Ashley Greene from Dark Castle Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie is about a couple who are haunted by a supernatural presence (an apparition) that is unleashed during a college experiment.
The movie will be directed by Todd Lincoln, who wrote the script. It is said to be inspired by true events.
Shooting is scheduled to start Feb. 1 in Germany.
Besides his off-and-on stint as Carter on Gossip Girl, Stan has been dating Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester for quite a while now.
Stan recently wrapped shooting the thriller Black Swan and will appear in the John Cusack comedy Hot Tub time Machine, according to THR.
