Grammy Nominations are In!

The Grammy nominations are in and it is lovely to see so many women in the running for awards; dominating the categories for Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Electronic/Dance Album, Best Contemporary R&B Performance and several others.

UK export Adele appears to be a favorite this year with four nominations, followed by Jazmine Sullivan with three and Leona Lewis and Duffy with two nominations respectively.

While Adele, Coldplay, Leona Lewis, M.I.A., and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss will have to duke it out for Record of the Year, Adele also has to contend with Duffy, the Disney latest boy band phenomenon Jonas Brothers, up-and-comer Jazmine Sullivan and underdog Lady Antebellum for Best New Artist.
