The NOLA screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button went on last night, and as always Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looked amazing on the red carpet. While I’m a big fan of tuxes for super fancy events, I think Brad looks great in just a regular (though very nice!) suit. And Angelina! That dress was so beautiful and classy.

Sorry about the triple-post, but I also don’t think Angie would be making comments about the kids asking questions like “How come Shrek and Fiona are married but you’re not?” if she and Brad were, in fact, married. :)
Oops! When I said I think she’d just dodge the question if they really were married, I meant to say that I think she’d dodge the question if they really were married…but didn’t want to tell the world about it. :)
Nic, you have a good point, but Angie has also said that they aren’t married, and that they will get married if it becomes important to the kids.
Given that Angie is known for being honest to a fault, I’m inclined to believe that they aren’t married. I don’t think she’d lie about that. If they really were married, I think she’d just dodge the question, which is what she usually does when she doesn’t want to confirm a rumor that’s true.
Also, were the kids with them on that trip to Costa Rica? If not, then I highly doubt they got married on that trip. I have a hard time believing that they wouldn’t have the kids present for the wedding.
Anyway, I think Brad’s smile just means, “No, we’re not legally married, but you might as well call as that because we’re as married as you can get without actually making it legal.”
nicepeoplerock, I think it’s just the lighting or a combination of the lighting and her underwear showing through the dress (maybe it’s slightly see-through).
I thought Angelina looked absolutely gorgeous. But I thought Brads tie and shirt combination was hideously hideous! Anyway as always in these situations, who cares what I think, you think, or anyone thinks, as long as he was happy with his choices.

More and more i think that Brad and Jolie are married.Remember when they took that trip to Costa Rica some yrs back..I don’t think that they want to tell everyone or the world for a mtter of fact that they are married..Hell why should they..lol..It is there private business..haaaaa

You got it exactly, Neer. And so did they, not too much (Hollywood overdressed), not too little (HA.CA.FL casual). BIG PROPS too for them respecting local NOLA media and giving them as much or more time as the national media.
HEADS UP: Tomorrow the first critics awards is announced – National Board of Review.
As usual Angie do know how to dress up simply yet elegantly. She seems to follow the adage “less is more”. With her, we can expect outfit that is just appropriate in every occasion. The screening of TCCOBB in New Orleans is a simple red carpet, so it is just proper to wear something that is not outlandish to avoid upstaging the movie and “New Orleans”. I also like the buttons of the dress. Very clever. Her accessories are just enough. He hairstyle and her shoes go with the outfit. Very classy. Her make-up doesn’t “cover” her face but instead it enhances the beauty of her face. It doesn’t make her look like a clown. Overall, her style in this particular red carpet shouts SOPHISTICATION!
I always enjoy seeing them on the red carpet. Angie is simply put, a stunner. Brad can do no wrong no matter what. I do have my favorite looks for him, but none that would include just a stache. I will get over it and the hair because it is temporary. I am so looking forward to seeing ccobb. I just might take a family break on christmas day and have some me time. I would like to think of it has my christmas present to myself. I have been a very good girl this year!
The dress is L’Wren Scott so it isn’t vintage – but it’s vintage inspired, the fabric-covered buttons, the kick-vent in the back, the fitted outline, below knee skirt, 3/4 length sleeve, boatneck neckline.
Brad is wearing a Tom Ford ensemble. He always – or almost always – wears Tom Ford. In this case, it’s a very fashion forward plaid on plaid on plaid (not everyone’s taste).
They both look stunning as usual :) I’m happy to see them.
These pictures just make me want to shake my head at the tabs. Out of Touch keeps trying to claim that Angie is pregnant. These pictures, however, show a woman who looks fanatastic (spanx or not!) for having twins less then five months ago!
Also love that she’s wearing spanx (I believe she is) … there’s nothing wrong with that. Gotta give comfort to women that even the beautiful ones aren’t perfect. She did, after all, just have twins :)
