Mischa Barton, wearing a cool red band jacket over a black print Led zeppelin t-shirt as a fashion statement, was spotted outside of the MTV Studios in Time Square on Tuesday where she made an appearance on It’s On with Alexa Chung show.
Mischa Barton talks big cats (strange), Lady Gaga, groupie-love and playing a pill-popping model named Sonja Stone on her upcoming show, The Beautiful Life (which will premiere TODAY at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW) during the interview.
What’s cool is the interview mostly focuses on the new show and we learn a lot about Mischa’s character.
“We film crazy hours like yesterday before I saw you we did a 15-hour day,” Mischa said during the interview. Afterwards, she and her friends went and saw Lady Gaga at an after-party event (where she must have seen Alexa Chung).
About her character Sonja Stone on The Beautiful Life:
“She is supposed to be a bad girl. She’s a famous model…. Her behavior is a mixture of people. And we like to poke fun at things that happen even in my life. Celebrity stuff like she gets chased by the paparazzi. Our writer Mike Kelley is so smart. He’s such a great writer and that’s why I love my character. She’s so easy to speak through,” Mischa said. “Sometimes she is really bitchy and sometimes she is really sweet, but she does all of these crazy things though. She kinda cleans up her act. You’ll see that she not a total pill popper. She’s not like Marissa on The O.C. or anything. She’s not going to be like a psycho. But you find out that she’s got some crazy secrets.”
