Greatest American Dog teams to do the doggie dance

For those following Greatest American Dog reality show on CBS this summer, be sure to check in Wednesday, Aug. 6 for this week’s episode “Dancing with the Dogs.”

The remaining eight teams of dogs and owners will display their talents on the dance floor.

In addition to the Doggie Dance Fever session, the “Mud Doggin’ Dog Bone Competition will get down and dirty when the dogs have to prove their balance and coordination; one owner is reduced to tears after their dog shuts down during training for the Best-In-Show Competition; one competitor shows tremendous heart after making a crucial sacrifice to help out a troubled opponent and a front-running team faces severe scrutiny after playing it safe in the Best-In-Show Competition, “Doggie Dance Off.” In the end, the fifth team is expelled from the Canine Academy.

From this information, I’m worried about the competitor that makes a crucial sacrifice and the team that plays it safe on the “Doggie Dance off.”

What teams do you think they are referring to? Who are you rooting for?

The remaining teams include: Beth Joy and Bella Starlet, Bill and Star, Brandy and Beacon, J.D. and Galaxy, Laura and Preston, Laurie and Andrew, Teresa and Leroy and Travis and Presley.

Greatest America Dog, which airs from 8 to 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesdays on CBS, is doing great in ratings in its new time slot for the last two weeks. The show is executive produced by R.J. Cutler, Stu Schreiberg and Stephen Kroopnick for Magic Molehill Productions, Inc., in association with Actual Reality Pictures and Triage Entertainment, Inc.
