Sorry but can someone please tell me what I’m missing??? Yes Lucky as portrayed by (Greg Vaughn) is obviously handsome but what else? As an actor…I will just not go there b/c clearly he has some true fans. Maybe I could enjoy him playing the role of another character but as Lucas Lorenzo Spencer Jr? NO WAY! I remember when the character was 1st introduced & both Tony Geary & the O.G. Lucky (I think his name is Jonathan Jackson) appeared on “The View.” Clearly both actors admired the others acting skills & playing off of eachother but this current Lucky from my view doesn’t have chemistry w/anyone. I think that this is why by & large he comes off as pathetic. His delivery is so 1 diminsional. I sit & root for him in every scene & it just seems like nothing ever happens. Forget about a scene w/Luke. I think Tony has to scale back in order to not run circles around Greg. To Greg’s fans again I’m sorry but I’m willing to listen to any thoughts on what I’m missing b/c I want to love the son of Luke & Laura. Until then, I long for the return of the o.g. Lucky or at least someone with the acting skill to go with the looks.

Dee, Greg Vaughn is very talented in my opinion. It’s not his fault the writers have completely forgotten about him (and Sam). When the nominees to the Emmy’s came out, Maurice Benard said Greg Vaughn should have been nominated. His drug storyline was brilliant. Greg portrayed a very disturbed Lucky. He would never do that as a cop, certainly not cheat on his wife but Greg did marvelous in playing all that demons. Maurice is a class act so if he thinks Greg deserves an Emmy then I agree :) .

The writers need to get off their ass and write something good. You can’t judge someone’s acting when they’re hardly on screen and if they are, they’re just standing around trying to keep peace between the mob families.

Ok, thanks for your opinion Dexie. I agree, Maurice is a great actor & if that’s his opinion then there’s something to it. I guess the writers on one hand can be blamed but on the other hand there are some actors (like almost every other actor on GH) that seem to be able to work with whatever material they have good or bad. Greg always seems so bland to me. I would like to say that I will give Greg’s acting skills a 2nd look but it technically will be the 1000th look. I hope that he begins to move me b/c he is the son of Luke Spencer & that alone deserves a bigger role & more strong consistent acting. Look at how much they feature Lulu. Thanks again for your feedback & for not being mean with your resposnse. I’ve just started blogging this weekend & this is a good site. :)

No problem Dee. I love soap fas as I am one myself. Huge one :) . And we all have different opinions. What I love about this blog, besides writing it myself is because it’s different from other soaps message boards. We can all disagree in a mature manner :) . Hope to see you more often here and looking forward to reading more of your thoughts.
