The hatred of Gretchen Rossi is starting to border on illogical. She was set to host “Miss Newport Beach” down in Orange County on April 24 and the organizers got inundated with so many phone calls that they have let her go and are looking for someone else to emcee the pageant. Even some of the sponsors have reportedly backed out. Hell, even you can apply to emcee the beauty contest if you want.
While Gretchen is not my favorite OC housewife (my heart belongs to Jeana), in the end, she’s totally harmless. While her detractors can complain that she was partying while Jeff was in the hospital: let’s not forget that Jeff had been married 5 times before being engaged to Gretchen. That’s not exactly a dude who is marrying you for life. If Jeff chose to get chemo in OC and not in Michigan, there must have been a reason. Maybe their relationship wasn’t romantic or maybe they did have an arrangement, whatever, worse things happen every day. And really, it was a beauty pageant, not changing anyone’s life here. Some people seriously need to get a grip on reality.

I’m not sure why everyone hates Gretchen so much! I think the show would be really boring without her drama.

I find Gretchen sincere. I think it’s terrible how people (vicky/tamra) are trying to portrey her. I just finished watching the recap of the season.
Can anyone give Gretchen credit for staying with Jeff and being there for him and his kids. One of the biggest reasons that I think she is sincere…if Jeff’s children, especially his teenage daughters, were so supportive of Gretchen then I would think anyone could be. They were even sympathetic towards Gretchen and what she was going through taking care of Jeff all alone. One of his daughters even made a comment about Gretchin being at the hospital so much she needed some time to get away. Also remember Gretchen flew his kids in before she left on one of her trips to make sure that Jeff had someone with him while she was gone.
If Gretchen is talking even sleeping with “Jay”…come on! She has already said she isn’t in a serious relationship. I also think she has been letting go of Jeff for a while and going through things most people couldn’t even imagine.
You need someone to fall back on and to help hold you up. Even if Jay is that for her…give her a break people.
I can’t imagine having to go through this with the world watching let alone Tamra trying to make me look bad because of her own insecurities. Who is Tamra kidding…she is so transparent!
Who’s to say “Jay” isn’t seeking a little fame by enhancing the truth anyways!? Think about all the things we read in tabloids that aren’t true!
For the record Gretchen is the hottest housewife by FAR!!!
Hold your head high Gretchen. It’s hard when so many people are jeleous of you! I think you are great!

Google her. She’s not looking so good now. Jeff either. They both left marriages for each other and the evidence is mounting that Gretchen is having her bread buttered all over town. I think they are all vacuous, shallow women although while watching I did like Gretchen. But something really stinks here…lots of info on the net. Lies happen but when so many follow you…if it quaks like a duck–it’s a duck.

The only thing that stinks is the lies Tamra is spreading about Gretchen. What is so hysterical is that everyone is turning on Tamra.
Have you seen the detailed posts of how broke Tamra is? Bravo viewers have more money than her, LOL!
Tamra is the only liar on that show, she doesn’t even belong on the show since she has no money.

who are these anti-gretchen callers? tamra/simon/ryan/jay??? and what kind of sponsors would back out bec. of her? simon’s tequila distributorship/ tamra’s non-existent realtorship? it all sounds odd to me, as gretchen wasnt the villian of this past season. i could understand it if ppl didnt show up if tamra/vicky were to host.

Gretchen has been a liar and fake. She was dating Slade before she was on the OC wives and supposedly engaged to Jeff. He talked about it in a blog a long time ago when he was on the dating show with Jo. He said he had dated a “Gretchen Rossi” and how “hot” she was… then, she showed up on this season’s show with a very rich, every old, very ill, fiancee?? How stupid can people be to believe that she is anything but a gold digger/attention whore? Tamra and Vicki weren’t “jealous”. They probably just got tired of having to cater to her, befriend her and the fake story/ fake tears when they have kids near Gretchen’s age!! Who would want their daughter “acting” like Gretchen and exploiting a sick man and his kids?? His kids even said in an interview that they didn’t trust her.. And, on one episode, Gretchen was crying to jeana about one of the ex. wives checking up on Jeff’s care, as her kids told her he was alone all of the time. She flew the kids in so that she could go out and flirt with every man in sight in those bikinis/”peacock” burlesque outfits!! Come on, people!! Don’t be so naive/stupid. The girl’s a seasoned actress/fake.. Watch how she fakes everything on the Vegas trip/black jack table.. She cries about Jeff when at Bass lake when her boyfriend, Jay, was admittedly there with her?? And, the totally fake “motorcycle” gift and letter at the beach dinner?? That was to draw all attention on her and away from the other wives/families..when Vicki and Tamra were getting gifts from their family/co-workers..

Everyone knows that you are uneducated, unemployed and living in a trailer at this point because you are so broke. Why not get a job instead of sitting on your fat ass all day obsessing about Gretchen.
She is rich, young and beautiful and has it all. You are not one tenth the woman she is.
Oh and by the way JAY has a LONG criminal record (past restraining orders, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, ya a real winner) and on top of that he went to the national enquirer trying to make money…….ya he is a reliable source.

my goodness.. some people are Gretchen stalkers or they must be her friends/relatives or something. Every time someone says anything negative about Gretchen, these mean people come out and accuse them of being Tamra or jay. Funny thing is, those Gretchen supporters are meaner and more vulgar than anything Tamra or anyone sles ever said about her!!

I’m not related to Gretchen, just a fan of Housewives of OC, and someone who has no life!…i’ve defended both Tamra and Gretchen…i WAS a huge fan of Tamra til the Housewives Reunion…at that point i was totally turned-off by Tamra’s anger(?) and Vicki’s (school yard) mean girl stance. Let’s take a look at the facts…Gretchen is a “whore(?)” and Tamra is “trailer trash.” Those are the comments. People who support Gretchen are stalkers or relatives, and i guess people who support Tamra are well, Tamra and Jay.
AND, Gretchen and Tamra are real people who have to put up with morons posting crap about them.
