After an almost four month absence from the Bravo TV website, Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gretchen Rossi is back with an 8 page long blog entry where she …says nothing. Instead, most of the entry is devoted to her various upcoming appearances in her quest to win the fund raising contest known as “Woman Of The Year.” That’s all fine and good, but a bit of a tease. She claims to never have watched the entire reunion and that she has a shrine to Jeff in her house:
“Although it has been one of the toughest times in my life, I have been able to really create some amazing things out of all the pain and heartache that has come with losing Jeff. No one will ever be able to truly understand or I will never be able to explain in right detail the last six months of my life. The pain, the tears, the hopelessness, the regret, the sorrow, the sleepless nights, the dreams, being angry at God, or the sad void in my soul. I have come to realize that no one can or will truly understand, and it is up to me to decide how I will handle it and how I will move on. No matter what anyone says, I have to do what is best for me. Jeff taught me that lesson, so I am taking his advice. I truly believe he continues to look over me from heaven and takes care of me by bringing great people into my life and teaching me about the poisonous ones. I have a little shrine of him in my house, with his ashes and all our pictures together. I get to walk by him every day and say hi and talk to him. Sounds corny I know, but it helps me get through the day sometimes.”
She also says she’s “invested in many “new ventures.” I wonder what kind of jewelry Gretchen will be asking us to buy soon.
“I have gotten back into the world of real estate and I am slowly building my clientele back. I have invested in other entities of companies that I am hoping will be a good return on my investment. I hope my story is one of strength and courage. Despite all the rumors and crap that has hurdled over my head lately due to press and the way they spin things, I have a lot of untold story left to tell. A story of not letting anyone take you down despite how hard the days might seem at times. A story of repair and rebuilding everything from my financial situation, to my work, to my relationships. I had to move on, because that is what I know Jeff wanted me to do! So here I am, doing it little by little.”

She does not address any of the stuff going on. She does not have to really. I would let them all eat cake too. lol. She is getting her cheddar straight up and she is doing her thang.lol
Grief is a weird thing. It has a weird way of showing up, and i’ve never been able to pick and choose what i cry over, or not. I do know (at least in my life) that i’ve had more grief when i had unfinished business with someone. If a shrine helps her, good for her.
I don’t know or care much about either woman. From watching the show I cannot stand Tamra, she is just complete trash and is a horrible mother, it’s sad to watch.
I have never seen Gretchen be mean or rude to anyone on that show, she seems to have a lot more class and treats people with respect.
I hope they don’t bring Tamra back, she has ruined what used to be a good show.
Who from Tamaras family is posting here? I just see you blaming others to be from her family. If you dont like what you read, blame it on Tamaras family. Allie you need to grow up. Not everyone agrees with Gretchen or Tamara.
It does have something to do with Tamra since she comes here to constantly slam Gretchen, it’s sick and pathetic.
It’s never about Gretchen when all of it is pure lies posted by Tamra and her loser family.
And if she has his ashes why do you care?
She has his ashes. hmmm. This says alot. She is a work of art all right. A very entertaining one is all.
What I dont understand is why she has his ashes. The shrine is one thing but come on. His real family doesnt even live if calif. And to allie, this has nothing to do about Tamara. Who cares? This about Gretchen.
I say good for her! At least she has her own money and isn’t a wannabe like some other housewives who are being foreclosed on as we speak.
She seems like a nice lady.
I read a page and a half (Because that is what my attention allows) and that whole shrine thing made me laugh. Let’s be serious, she would be better off saying a swig of the bottle gets her through the day.
All I can say is she is a work of art.
