Gretchen and Slade, America’s couple of the year, have just unleashed some of the cheesiest photos ever to be taken in all of human history. Here’s Gretchen narrowly avoiding severe head injury by smiling at the cameras instead of making sure she doesn’t end up with a concussion. There’s an obvious joke to be made here, folks, but I run a classy establishment.
In case the above 80s aerobics instructor chic is not to your liking, how about some outfits ripped straight off the cover of your favorite romance novel? The hero, SLADE SMILEY, a name so ridiculous I couldn’t have written it better, fresh off an obvious tanning salon binge and still unable to find a comb. Our heroine, clad in her leopard print bikini best, which makes one remember that comment she made about knowing the difference between “trashy” and “skanky” in the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. Will our couple in love ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after? Only if the cameras are there.

The rumor (emphasis on rumor) has always been that Slade was the one who brought Gretchen into the RHOC fold and that he wanted to come back on the show as her boyfriend, but the producers did not want that. So, part of their agreement must have been that she would do a shoot at Jo’s music video. And yes, so curious about what Jo thinks. It seems that Slade just attaches himself to attractive, younger women so they can do all the work.
Slade was directing the video, I think. Or in some kind of supervisor role. He used to be her manager. I think now he’s moved on and is managing Gretchen. I don’t think Gretchen was dating Slade when that was taped, from reading Jay’s postings on OC Register, that started up after the show. They first appeared in public photos around March and went to the A-List awards together.
Woah, I go away for two days and all this has happened. I’m going to be keeping a close eye on these comments, just so you know.
Yeah, what Jay is talking about is a segment on E! News about housewife scandals that he was interviewed for. He says it’ll be on tonight at 7pm, tonight’s listings say it’ll be E! News.
