Gretchen Wilson recently launched her own record label, Redneck Records, and has already announced that she’s got a single ready to hit the airwaves on October 26th.
The single, “Work Hard, Play Harder,” will be from her upcoming album titled I Got Your Country Right Here, which is set for a release date in early 2010. Gretchen co-wrote the song with John Rich of Big & Rich and Vicky McGehee.
About the move to start her own label, Gretchen says:
“My management and I looked at a lot of different options over the last couple of months, and starting Redneck Records made the most sense to continue the relationships I’ve built with radio, retail and the fans. This is a really exciting time in my life, and I’m looking forward to everyone hearing my new music.”
