New casting sides for Grey’s Anatomy 5.20 point toward a really intesting development in the Callie/Arizona storyline.
While not directly involving Callie and Arizona, it does involve the mention of their potential relationship.
But I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone, so let’s drop the info behind a cut and a spoiler line.

According to the casting sides, Callie’s father will be dropping by Seattle Grace. And what’s more, Callie totally comes out to him!
Assuming they don’t change anything, the scene will see Callie setting her father’s bones and simultaneously announcing that she’s happy in her relationship and that though she hadn’t been looking for anything – either with a man or a woman – what she has now “feels good, safe, easy and comfortable.”
We can only assume she’s talking about Arizona, because her name isn’t mentioned at any point, but I think it’s a fair assumption.
Her father reacts by telling Callie that he wants her to come back home with him. She can move back in and he’ll take care of everything. He’ll even talk to the Chief and explain “the circumstances” so that Callie can transfer to a hospital in Miami.
Callie refuses.
Looks like it won’t be a smooth coming out!

I guess we can surmise that Callie and Arizona get together sometime between episodes 5.17 and 5.19. Guess the speech about the Peace Corps worked! Or maybe it was the cooking. I’m really curious to see how this pans out.
Of course, don’t believe anything 100% until it airs!

I just don’t see Callie & Arizona in a relationship there is just no chemistry.
We shall see. So many rumors floating around…
Regardless if it means more screen time for Sara I am thrilled.

if erica’s departure was due to the lack of chemistry, how can they say that there’s chemistry here??
Callie and Hahn was SO wrong! Hahn was a creeper, through and through. Though i would much rather see Callie/Sloan, Arizona seems to be an okay match, for now.
I personally see amazing chemistry between the two. They play off the Badass Ortho Surgeon and the Sweet Slightly Dorky Peds Surgeon duo very well and I am excited to see how they get together.
They have way more chemistry than Erica/Callie IMO. Erica was just not very likeable in the first place and that’s why the character was abandoned.
