Happy 100th Episode day, everyone! Tonight: the MerDer wedding day episode we’ve all been waiting for! Tonight two wonderful souls joins in holy matrimony and we’ve got front row tickets to the big event. Some of us have kept up with the spoilers, some of us have avoided them like the plague, but tonight we all get to find out what really happens.
So pull up a chair and drop in your thoughts before, during and after the episode so that we can all enjoy each other’s reactions.

All I can say is…..stick a fork in me, I am done with this show. I knew that this was going to happen – in fact I told everyone I knew that the wedding would be for Izzie and Alex.
I would recommend any cast member that wants a bigger part in the show…start making unhappy noises and threaten to leave the show!
As predictable as it was to have Izzie walking down the isle, there was something remarkably beautiful about hearing Alex’s “vows” to her. Whether she’s going to leave the show or not, the role she’s playing now is making her counterpart a better person. And THAT is worth this storyline!
Last nights episode was great. I love how Alex has finally starting to grow up and his vows were great, he also was so sweet when Izzie’s hair started to fall out.
Alex’s vows were the speech that the valedictorian said while in the ER with just a few words different!!
Last nights episode was brilliant… even though it was very predictable that it would be Izzy’s and Alex’s wedding – it was perfect – not what MerDer wanted anyway! I bawled all the way through the episode and then some!
Promos for next week provoked a few more tears – looks like no matter what, it’ll all go wrong!
I loved last night’s episode, especially the wedding! I’m hoping that miracles will happen with Izzie and she’ll be okay. I think it would make for an interesting story to see her & Alex adjust to marriage, especially since he’s not really thinking this is going to be a long-term thing. If she goes and George goes, I’ll probably go. Never, ever been a MerDer fan, but I love Little Grey and McSteamy, and Hunt and Christina, just don’t know if they will have enough of a story to keep me interested!
Aww last nights episode was so lovely, even though it was a tad predictable. In a way I was kinda happy that MerDer didn’t get married because it wasn’t their kind of thing. Although I hope I will at some point get to see Derek in his morning coat. It is so lovely that Alex is all grown up and mature looking after Izzie. It was a great episode and had me in tears throughout.
If Izzy goes, a lot of people will stop watching the show.
Meredith and Derek will have their “OWN” wedding day. I just laugh to myself when I think how much Alex and Izzie’s day cost Derek since he gave his credit card over to Izzie!!!! Mer/Der wedding, bring it on and I would suspect it won’t be a big thing because you know how Shondra doesn’t like big things – heck they might just show up married and we will have missed it all…
okay yes I saw the Izzie & Alex wedding coming and I am quite pleased. I have been waiting for them to be together offically for awhile now, and I am glad Alex is becoming more sensitive. As to everyone who is upset that Mer/Der didn’t happen…really people if they followed through with the wedding…the show would be pointless…and it might as well end…that would be the climax to the show…so honestly yes they will end up together but probably not till the show is coming to an end…and if you are a true Grey’s fan you wouldn’t want to see that happen in all honesty! Anyway, last night did not disappoint at all, it was an amazing 100th episode. It brings back memories of the good old Grey’s days when you couldn’t wait to see what happens next

No one’s mentioned this, but what most tugged at my heart strings (besides Alex’s vows) was the evolving relationship between Callie and Arizona. LOVE THEM. They’re why I watch, really. I hope it’s true that Jessica Capshaw is going to be a regular character!
Although predictable it was finally a nice wedding for the show. My 1st tears came when George helped Izzie down the isle. Then again when Alex spoke his vows. Very touching. George is really coming forward as capable doctor & I really like that; I hope he stays. McSteamy & little Grey are still my faves! More of them please!!!
Predictable wedding, yes, but it was done briliantly! I do have a feeling that Izzie might not make it and we most likely will not know for sure until next season however I will always be a Grey’s fan. Last nights show was great all the way through and not just the Izzie storyline. It did remind me of the beginning of Greys. A horrid accident which related to our characters, drama and much sadness with a lot of touching moments sprinkled through, and humor! There was a lot said last night without words which I really loved. I do hope that George doesn’t leave. i can see him as the ER guy. He found his nitch. To be honest I was never over the moon about the Mark and little Grey storyline however I am getting drawn in, I guess because this relationship is taking time to develop. Way to go Shonda!!
I LOVE Grey’s Anatomy. BUT I honestly think that Izzie will die and George will leave sometime in the middle of next season. I’m just expecting the worst because I REALLY DON’T WANT ANYONE TO LEAVE.
I DON’T WANT IZZIE TO GO!!! She’s my favorite character. =( I hope that she miraculously heals and that – finally – there’ll be a REAL marriage in the show. The characters always break up, get back together or find other partners. It would be fun to see how a REAL marriage happens in the Grey’s Anatomy world.
MERDER will probably get married – but we wouldn’t know when. Because the Season Finale will focus on how Izzie’s gonna die – or live. Or she could live but she’ll forget all her memories. Or something. Gah!
First of all, there is no chemistry between Izzie and Alex, so, for me the relationship has always been phony. Whenever Denny comes on the scene, her pheremones kick in.
If she lives, then I will leave Grey’s because people do not survive stage 4 metatstatic melanoma. This is what killed Eva Cassady – the wonderful singer.
According the the show itself, the cancer has moved not only to her brain, but to her bones. My friend had stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that moved the same way and it isn’t pretty.
Heigl stamped her foot and Grey’s stepped on it big time. She’s gone.
No matter what happens I’ll always be a fan of Grey’s. It’s an escape from the reality of my own boring life. Kudos to Alex for his sensitivity and caring for Izzie. Meredith is pregnant in real life so I’ll be they write her pregnancy into the story line.
Please do not kill off Izzie. Sure her charater gets a little crazy, but shes good!
Let Christina have some happiness also.
It’s time for Izzie to go. Katherine Heigl is a royal PITA and thinks she’s a hotshot actress. Let her see just how much her acting’s worth out there in the real world.
