Rumor on the street is that Mr. Torres arrives with annulment papers that he wants Callie and George to sign. He apparently thinks that Callie has made a huge error and has drawn up papers that provide George with enough “hush money” to make it worth his while to sign.

George doesn’t show up for their lunch date and Callie makes excuses and defends her marriage. Papa Torres goes back to the hospital with her and meets George who he notices ‘reeks of alcohol’. George doesn’t even attempt to make a good impression – he’s too hungover and devastated by what he’s done.

Callie puts two and two together in ‘My Favorite Mistake’ and can tell by the way George and Izzie are acting that something happened. She loses it and goes back to her hotel. Papa Torres leaves the annulment papers there. George arrives later and all of his things are packed in the hallway. Callie has signed the papers and left them on his suitcase.

He bangs on the door begging to talk to her, telling her that he loves her and that it was a horrible mistake.

She doesn’t let him in.
