So with no new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy to watch for a long time to come, I thought I’d track down our favorite actors from the show and find out what they’re up to during these exciting times.
- Patrick Dempsey is starring in an upcoming film entitled Made of Honor co-starring Michelle Monaghan. The film looks to be in pre-production but should be coming out sometime this year (summer probably). And it’s about a “a guy in love with an engaged woman who tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.” Interesting.
- Katherine Heigl is all over the place these days. She’s rumored to be starring in a film called The Ugly Truth slated for sometime next year. The film is categorized as a romance comedy about “a romantically challenged morning show producer who is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her correspondent.”
- Sandra Oh we know will be joining the jury for Sundance this year. But aside from that, she’ll also be starring in a film called Blindness, a thriller/drama about “a doctor’s wife who becomes the only person with the ability to see in a town where everyone is stuck with blindness.” Oh will be playing the Minister of Health. The film is slated for August 2008.
The others don’t seem to be filming anything presently (though if anyone knows differently, please let me know!) but that doesn’t mean they’ll be off the media radar, so I’m sure we’ll learn what they’re up to soon enough.
I’m kind of hoping Sara Ramirez returns to Broadway for a while. I do miss her lovely voice (which if you haven’t heard go out and get the Spamalot soundtrack at once!)

yep, katherine is probablly hollywoody´s `it´ girl (ecxept she´s much more mature as the previous `ìt´) people are really starting to notice her, right? good for her!
