Parts of the Internet are buzzing about the … shall we say, suggestiveness, of Callie and Hahn in last night’s episode, but far more interesting is the question Callie poses to Addison in next week’s episode: “You want to know if Erica and I are a couple?”
I’m fairly certain that all of this Callie/Hahn hype will lead absolutely nowhere, though some people speculate that it’s a ploy to sneak another potential sapphic pair into the mix: Cristina and Hahn.
We discussed the possibility of this a while back, given that Brooke Smith and Sandra Oh played a lesbian couple in an off-Broadway play and thought it might be fun to roll that lady lovin’ over to Grey’s Anatomy. But it seemed like the Grey’s Anatomy creators had other ideas. Hahn has been on McSteamy’s radar for a while and spoilers point in the direction of that couple. But who knows.
There was always the possibility that one of the Grey’s Anatomy characters would turn out bi or gay as rumored many moons ago. Grey’s Anatomy has long been honored for being gay-friendly. But are they willing to go the extra mile? And more importantly, how would you feel about it?
Personally, I’m all for it. Bring it on.

oh please oh please oh please Shonda pursue a gay major character/relationship. Speaking of what ever happened to Joe and his boyfriend? She is one of the few writer/producers I would trust to treat a gay character with respect and make them realistic.
Actually lets not forget that Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh play a gay couple in, “Under the Tuscan Sun”!
hahn has already told cristina that she doesn’t go for women. callie & ‘erica’ are just two friends gossiping over a bottle of wine after work.
i am pretty sure its hahn and cristina as that would make sense why hahn does not want to be around her..and its something greys would do to make callie, or mark seem like hahns pairing..and derose is gross. anyone else notice the vote of confidence from mark to mer? so sweet..
lmfao, I was just discussing this with my wife this morning. Whilst everyone thinks that Hahn and Sloan will get together, Shonda states in Aussielo’s interview that “Sloan isn’t used to NOT getting what he wants”. Sloan also stated in “where the wild things are” that there is “Only one person he can talk to”. My wife and I believe he was reffering to Callie and are hoping for a possible ‘Mallie’ reunion. Cristina and Hahn don’t fit because Hahn doesn’t like her, she’s a brown noser! I do believe that the kiss we never saw coming though is the one shared between *SPOILER ALERT*

why make the one girl who is overweight in the show gay? she is pretty but we must admit that Callie comes off a bit hard. I think making her gay is stereotypical of lesbians being man-like but hey, if it works for the show, then go ahead
I think Hahn is gay but not Callie…. I think after addison mentioned it, she realized it and thats why she danced with mark…. i guess she felt that they were getting a bit too close…

in the last episode yesterday, they laughed about it and while it seemed hahn thought it was a joke, it became awkward afterwards.
but yeah. greys’ wouldn’t make that pairing so obvious, i don’t think…
there has to be a twist, somewhere.

tonights kiss proved it to me, callie’s look was PERFECT! and erica’s softness and thumb proved it to me, being a lesbian its obvious that callie is being hyperhetero thus makes me think she likes erica and would be with her.
i agree they would make an interesting couple and i’m really hoping it happens!!!!!!! callie is so fine and i think the two would be incredible…it’d be a HUGE step for lesbians, not only are these two women beautiful and sexy, but they are professionals and respected, BRING IT!

the # of commercials was ridiculous and ruined the flow of the finale. maybe the can broadcast on the hallmark channel next year.

I’m personally disappointed in the Callie/Hahn relationship. It is entirely too stereotypical for those characters and it’s really not a surprise. I’m all for the shock value of the unexpected relationships but this one was seen coming for a while. I wish the writers could drop this relationship and become more creative with those characters. I love the show and I LOVE that Meredith and Derek are back together and the whole Izzie and Alex thing is awesome! I always loved them together and knew he was secretly still in love with her. But if they focus on Callie/Hahn too much or drag that relationship on, I’m going to loose interest pretty quickly. I want to see those characters do something more…something completely unexpected. But who knows, maybe Hahn isn’t gay and totally rejects Callie. I guess we will just have to see next season.
Sorry, they lost me. I turned off the first episode after 15 minutes. I did watch the finale. GA used to be so great and I coudn’t wait to watch it. Now there is such a departure from the original episodes. I am so tired of all the partner swapping back and forth. The Callie/Hahn thing does nothing for me. Meredith needs to lose her mother problem. Bring back Addison, she added so much to the show. Bailey has lost what made me love Bailey. This has turned into a boring soap opera. I agree, the many commercials every five minutes were a turn off. At least Izzie has grown up and has quit screeching. The George thing is ridiculous. He is supposed to a intern, not an errand boy. Let’s get some reality back into this showl The Mer/Der on again. off again is getting tiresome. Is Shonda getting tired or what? At this point, I could really care less what happens to any of them. I’m done, unless GA reverts back to the original format.
Please no more Callie/Hahn relationship. I wasn’t going to hang around for next season if Mer/Der didn’t get together in the finale. Luckily, they did so I’m still in. Now to see if I can complete next season. The answer is no if Callie/Hahn become a central part of the show. I work full-time and am a grad student, the only show I take time to watch is Grey’s. I’m not going to spend my little free time watching a lesbian relationship. Miss Goody Two Shoes, too uptight? No, I happen to be friends with several gay people. I just don’t care to have their relationships thrust into my face.
I am totally against the Callie/Hahn relationship. C’mon now, is it necessary to be subjected to this nonsense. Two women kissing on regular network TV. This has gone too far. I guess this will be the last episode I will ever watch.
I am sorely dissapointed in Grey,s as usual. The show has really taken aturn foe the worse. Darla, I would advise you to watch Supernatural, much much much better.

I like the whole callie/hahn thing but it wud have been way more believable if erica hahn made the move bcuz we dont really know her character well enough cuz its nt as established as the others, so if she was a closeted lesbian i wud believe it more. It shud have been her placing the cards on the table and making the move and leave it up to callie to reciprocate or reject the offer. I cant picture it working out or being more than a 2-episode relationship, somethings just wrong with my imagination, which is why im very interested in seeing how its gonna play out in season 5. Cant wait! no matter what i’ll still be a fan of the show, callie is my favourite character, i always side with the girl who gets her heartbroken, or the outcast(season 2/3 she was definately an outcast). I hope theres a major triangle with Callie, Erica and Sloan.

i’m not against gays or anything but please dont invove callie.do wat u want with hahn but leave callie to mark or anyother guy PLEASE.but dont matter wat u guys always have my support. oh by the way LOVE that merder kiss.it was absolutely amazing.wish it was me. lol.
Personally, I am all for the “Callie” relationship. I think they have amazing chemisty and something about them seems so…right. I am straight, but I can totally relate to this because I too once fell for a woman. It wasn’t about being “straight” or “gay”, it was about the person I fell for. And I think this is what happened with Callie. She feels an amazing connection to Erica and sometimes connections can go beyond friendship. While we don’t know exactly how Erica was feeling or will feel, I think think her reation to Callies’ kiss shows that she feels the connection too. If she didn’t, don’t you think the moment Callie started to kiss her she would pull away? Erica kissed Callie right back. And that look they shared when they broke away before going right back to kissing. I’m hoping that for the next season, that they do get into a relationhip. I’m excited to see how both Callie and Erica handle it. And I’m excited to see more about Erica outside of the hospital. Let’s hope that the writers don’t ruin it by making Callie pregnant or having this be some sort of random fling. But with them getting GLAAD involved, it seems like it will be more than a fling.
erica already had feelings for callie ( i got tht impression from the epi ‘pieces of my heart’ when addison came to visit) but the reason she didnt cross the line, except as a display to prove something to mark (in the elevator), was because she knows callie is str8 + shes sleeping with sloan so erica didint want to cross tht boundary with callie. Thts y im glad callie made the move i guess cause i dont think erica would have (at least not in tht season).

I think Hahn is gay but not Callie. Check out season 1~4, Callie just not a lesbians.
I use to be a big fan of the show but tno more. People are tires of the gay thing being shoved down their throat constantly on TV and everywhere else. It’s repulsive what our children are being subjected to on prime time TV. The writers and actors hould know they’ve lost a lot of viewers with the new lesbian theme. In the end this will bring down the ratings and cost producers/writers/actors money. Enough is enough!
