I would imagine that most people would shout an automatic, “Hell yes!” but I find that there are people in all camps when it comes to this relationship. So what do you think. Is the MerDer relationship meant to be?

dammit! yes! after all the waiting they made us go through (and will probably still make us go through) i think we deserve to see them together.
I was hesitating between “yes, of course” and “nah, I’m over it”. It’s just that I think they need some time apart. Meredith should find another person and Derek can go out with Rose or someone else and someday they will just realize that they belong together. But first they just need some other “experiences”.

i´m a little tired of all of their dramas. i mean they´re 2gether for like 3 eps, then have a fight…etc, etc..

to be honest shonda has managed to kill the magic that is merder, i seriously dont care about derek anymore. i think meredith should just move on with her life and eventually find someone, she will be fine. As for derek he can go ahead and marry rose, build her a house and have as many kids as they want, i cant be bothered really.
Of course they belong together, but for some reason the writers are messing with them big time and I am getting tired of it. JUST GET THEM TOGETHER ALREADY AND KEEP THEM TOGETHER.
of course they belong together….but season 4 is not exciting as compared to season 1 and 2…shonda should bring back the magic of merder…or let meredith move on..
if the writers want derek and rose then let meredith move and give her a new leading man..or let her concentrate on her career and fix her relationship wd her father and sisters esp lexie..

I’m not sure yet..they want differents things, for now. Meredith must grow up, because she’s like a child who looks for a father, not for a man to love. If she doesn’t change, there’s no future with McDreamy.
I hate Rose. She just isn’t up to snuff with McDreamy. I just can’t stand that Der pledges his love and life to Mer, then all of a sudden, he needs to find someone new right away? After all this….just let them be together. Its exhausting!

Of course they should be together forever, Let Derek date Rose a couple times and Merideth see the loss, then get them back together, They don’t have to go warp speed, get her towards graduation and have him watch over her. Then build the house, the dream and the wedding. They are soul mates. Writers, that is why we started watching in season 1. Quit messing with them. Both realistically can only split up so much. You are ruining their relationship and the storyline you started with. Get them back together now, not later.
Yes! I think it’s annoying that they’re apart and Derek is with Rose! But i don’t like Derek now, he’s being very self-centered! He tells Mer that he’ll wait for her, but apparently in the mean time he’ll be with rose! Too many things have happened to them throughout the years! i want them together now!

I really likeD Meredith and Derek character for the first 2 season. But now, I’m getting sick of them. I hate the way Meredith talk and she is very indecisive. Izzi is much more interesting and fun (Katherine rules! Ellen look so old and not compatible with Derek) The whole show is getting more and more boring. I only watched 3 episodes of the latest season and I don’t have eagerness anymore to know what happen! Couldn’t care less!!
