So now that we’ve had a couple of episodes with the new and otherworldly Izzie/Denny storyline, how do you feel about it?
I have to say, I don’t quite know what they’re thinking with this. I loved Izzie and Denny together, but part of the beauty of that relationship was the tragedy and desperation of it. Now they’re just making it weird. Is this just meant as another roadblock toward the ultimate relationship: Alex/Izzie? And if so, was this really the way to do it?
What do you all think? Love it? Hate it?

The whole “relationship with a dead guy” thing just creeps me out. Seriously.
I am with you AnnasMom….. It is just beyond ridiculous… Grey’s has fallen so far from the wonderful show it used to be. I really think we need new writers not a flood a new characters.

I love them together…I love denny he is a HOTTIE…they are so good together…but what the heck is going on…I mean he is a dead guy…and he keeps saying I am Here for you…like he has come to take her…ya know like she is going to die…..I just wish I knew…I love izzys character and would hate to lose her….
oh I like izzy with alex too…and couldnt make up my mind on who to pick for her…I dont think we need new writers…and if you remember the 1st2nd year of Greys it was just like a soap opera…everyone was sleeping around with everyone(remember the outbreak of stds) and the miscarrage …lots of drama…just like a soap~ I think we need more steam for mer and der…they are losing touch…they are too comfy together…
As a former religious watcher of Grey’s Anatomy, I must say I cannot express my disappointment. This show started veering off course in the third season, now it’s not even in the same ballpark. The writers should be ashamed at what they’ve done to this show. Denny DOES NOT BELONG on this show…that’s what’s most irritating about this show. These writers get paid millions just to repeat the same storylines over and over. Honestly…I can’t see myself stomaching this show much longer.
I think I’ll stick with Private Practice.
Um Susanna…. Greys and Private Practice have THE SAME WRITERS/CREATORS!!! Shonda…so…that didnt make sense…
This denny and izzie storyline is horrible. Not entertaining — which is why i watch TV. What are they thinking.
There are so many storylines that could be told. How about more Meredith and Derek? Where is their passion? that is what kept me with the show so long!
ewww, who picked that izzy should be with alex… i would rather they kill her off than her to end up with alex… and izzy is my favourite character on the whole show so that’s saying alot.
Actually stephania, it does make sense. Even if they have the same writters, it seems like they are putting more energy into private practive because it’s now more interesting than Grey’s anatomy. Anyways, this whole storyline is a mess!!! And enough with the new uninteresting characters.
Seriously, haven’t they learnt from the dead/undead Meredith debacle (or should that be dead/undead Deth now)? The twilight zone doesn’t work.

Izzy and Denny are an epic love story. I get that it’s hard for people to understand the kind of love that Izzy has for Denny, and I think that is due a bit to the writers. They should have taken a little more time to develope their relationship before Denny died. But the bottom line is you can see it, it took her two seasons to TRY to get over Denny, but her soul is attached to Denny’s. They are inextricably linked. There is no breaking that bond. And she won’t just get over him following her around, and I dont think they will take him from her again. I think it would literally kill her. There is no Izzy without Denny.
