A couple of weeks ago I dropped a poll into the site asking you kind readers to share your opinions as to who would be most likely to become pregnant in season five. As most of you know, Michael Ausiello told us it would be one of the ladies that “shared a red-hot smooch” in the finale, which narrowed the list down to a few likely suspects.
Now that the poll has been live for a bit, I thought it was time to check out the results. So who do most people envision hiding out in the Seattle Grace bathroom with a positive pregnancy test?
Callie.
Callie earned the most votes with 298, which means most people expect the scoop to be about her. However, Meredith wasn’t very far behind in the poll. With 209 votes she came in second place and that means that there’s quite a number of viewers that think MerDer might be getting an unexpected addition.
Of course, the poll asked who you thought would be pregnant, but there’s also the question of who you’d like to be pregnant. Would you like to see Callie deal with her feelings for Hahn while finding out that she’s pregnant with McSteamy’s baby? Or would you rather see Meredith test her newfound commitment skills with a permanent responsibility?
Personally, I’d love for the entire pregnancy plot to be something of a false alarm or even a something that never actually gets written in. But I guess we’ll see where they go with everything and how they deal with the pregnancy storyline should it ever come to pass.

I don’t think callie or meredith will hit the baby jackpot. I think personally it will be Rose, otherwhise the cast won’t have anything juicy to add to the serie anymore.

Yeah it would be interesting if it was Rose’s Baby… But Then again, Mer should be pregnant cause then she would take up some responsibility…
But Then again, LOL, having a baby added to show might not go so well with it.
I doubt it’s Meredith, because Shonda has already let on that MerDer is going to be without major complications for majority of the season, instead dealing with normal couple issues, and a pregnancy would throw a wrench in that. So same with Rose being pregnant, although I could see that happening. I guess it could be Callie, but I’m rooting for Lexie. With Ava, it could bring on major complications in Alex’s storyline and Lexie’s aswell, seeing as she hasn’t had anything ‘big’ happen to her yet.
ew. i hope its not Lexie. i want alex and izzie together. lexie makes me gag. i hate her. she’s so annoying!
I would love to see meredith pregnant this would be a huge change for her and this would be so huge for her and derek to add a new addition to their fresh new ready for commitment relationship they will build a house and have a mcbaby thats the perfect storyline…
