@Adrienne – I’m thinking this week will probably be it for Denny, if he appears again at all. I didn’t see JDM on the guest star list so maybe he’s gone for good.

On all the promos for the crossover event they don’t show any clips with izzy. So do you think that it’s really it for the izzy denny storyline?

I watched it again on ABC’s website where you can watch it streaming for FREE. It’s actually like watching the Sixth Sense where you get just as much if not more out of it when you view it again. “I’m here for you” makes more sense. But I’m a little confused about the looseness of the issue. With the Sixth Sense it was clever, Willis’ character had to come back to help another little boy and to say goodbye to his wife before moving on. But with Izzy, why did Denny have to come back? Was it so that Izzy could move on to love Alex? Ahhhhh, that’s it. No disease or terminal illness. What do you think?

yeah that storyline is great now everybody or wondering is izzie leaving the show to proceed in her movie career,,,or what?…..the best part i love about that episode was when lexie told callie she broke his thing that was so funny….and the way callie looked at his thing was great….so are they gonna put in in a storyline on lexie pregency into the picture?…wow she is expecting child number 3 and is married to nathan lane and is only 26 yrs old…..thank for lettin me write a comment

Oh my God! This episode was awesome grey’s are back on track and i’m loving it..the serial killer was a excellent pretext to see a lot of feelings..meredith, derek, bailey..cristina..nobody was indiferent. More cute scenes of merder..we finally see mer and cristina trying to get back together in their odd way..that storyline is very very good..it’s real life..it’s real feelings..then the storyline izzie denny..hum..i’m an huge fan of katherine heighl work and i think she was fantastic in this episode the storyline was strange and i think denny could say something way before..but i get it too..he wants to stay with the love of his life in heaven..the thing is..she’s not in heaven..she’s dying..she have something in her head..and i willy hope she doesn’t die..will be very interesting see how alex, george (george really needs a storyline..now he is like a ghost in the series) meredith and cristina handle and support izzie..that will be emmy material definetly! Oh and sloan and lexie story..seriously?! i’m lovin’ it ahah =) grey’s anatomy is perfect now see ya guys kisses *

I cried so hard in this episode. This is what Grey’s is all about. I have to say this was the best episode so far this season. I especially loved that last scene with Meredith. I really hope nothing goes wrong for MerDer and they’re plans.

I agree “Stairway to Heaven” was a brilliant conclusion to the story arc not only for Izzy and Denny but for a lot of the other story lines.
