**Spoilers!**
So, as most of us know by now, George does not survive. I’m sorry. He really doesn’t. During the 2-hour premiere, we get to experience both the moment of his death and his funeral.
Some more details:
-
Callie does not attend the graveside service.
- George’s mom does.
- Meredith will deal with George’s death in a “very Meredith-like” way.
- Dr. Arizona Robbins will be “holding down the fort” at Seattle Grace while everyone else is at the funeral.
- Arizona will be helping Callie through her grief.
- Owen Hunt will be there for Cristina in a similar fashion. “Cristina is in denial about it, and he’s there for her at that moment when she actually realizes what has happened.” He’ll be a “rock” for those that are emotional wrecks (so, all of them).
- Cristina will also be revealing to Owen the details of her relationship with Burke.
- Later on in the season there will be an addition to the hospital that shares some history with Dr. Hunt. And it’s being said that this will “shake things up.”
What do you think of the spoilers? Undoubtedly, the season premiere is going to be difficult to watch. The emotions are going to be running high for a while.

[...] above, this time in a more general sense. The following spoilers are for the rest of the season, rather than for the first episode specifically [...]
I don’t hear anything about Derek (PD) in these spoilers. Does this mean that he won’t have any airtime because EP will lighten her airtime and be out for a few episodes? If that is the case, I won’t be watching. As far as crossovers go, Shondaland has been trying to save PP to the detriment of GA. I may watch some of the crossover’s depending on the storyline but it won’t make me keep watching PP. She can bring KW back to GA and give up on PP. Oh, that’s right, Shonda doesn’t care what the fans think.
