There’s been some … interesting … spoilers coming at us from over at E! Online. When asked for more info about the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy Kristin revealed that the show is getting a couple of hairy guest stars.

The list of guest stars for season 6 is likely to be an impressive one, but now we hear that it’s also going to be an unconventional one. As it happens, both a monkey and a bear have been cast for an upcoming episode of Grey’s. Yes, an actual monkey and an actual bear. At least, that’s the news so far.
It looks like the cast members – though it’s unclear which cast members, so perhaps all of them? – will be dealing with some furry animals at some point. What this means is anyone’s guess. Will the animals be patients? Will the cast randomly wander into the woods? Will they be visiting a zoo?

Perhaps the bear might show up on Derek’s land and harm someone??? As for the monkey I would guess it’s a patients pet that has to be watched while the patient is having surgery or something. The monkey would bring us a little humor I’m sure.

The animals will get lose somehow, as someones pets, and get into the hospital and raise holy he– maybe even attacking someone and then the Doc’s will have to deal with it!:)))
Ah hah! This all sounds very much like a plot to return McVet from the throngs of rejection, which will surely stir the craziness up. This is especially true if Derek ended up being the one with the nutty reaction to the death of either George or Izzy. If Izzy was actually the one to die and Derek goes wacky and unibomber mountain manish, going postal on the wildlife instead of doing surgery and nearly kills an endangered species of bear and McVet can’t save him and so brings him to Seattle Grace to be saved (because it’s the last bear of its kind), then McVet will get Meredith in a quandry.
PLEASE – Makers of Grey’s Anatomy, please reconsider. It is a well known fact that using exotic animals as actors is unethical for a whole slew of reasons, includng the fact that it is cruel to the individuals involved. Baby monkeys are torn from their mothers to be trained as actors, and once they reach adolescence are generally no longer useful because they become too dangerous. They have decades ahead of them, and since they are damaged because they did not grow up in monkey society, they will have long, lonely lives, sometimes in solitary confinement, sometimes dumped onto overcrowded sanctuaries. Using monkeys in this way perpetuates the myth that they are suitable as pets – they are not. Please reconsider, do not support this cruel industry!
