A thought that I had was in the support group, if it is a major part of her life during the season, they might suggest the people to get out and live type of idea. So, she might leave for the 5 week hiatus, then realize that Seattle Grace and her friends and such there ARE her life. I don't know, obviously, it was just an idea that popped into my head. By the way, I really wish they would bring her daughter into all of her battling cancer stuff. Because she didn't die in the episode that Izzie had to help her, did she? I'm certain she didn't. That's another idea, maybe Izzie will be going to find her daughter. That'd be pretty cool/interesting... Hannah No, I don’t think she’ll get fired…
