According to our dear friend Michael Ausiello of TV Guide, at least one of the following things will occur before the end of the season:
• After breaking things off with Cristina, Burke will transfer to another hospital.
• Callie will reveal she’s pregnant.
• Izzie and George will hook up.
• Izzie will be reunited with her daughter, and it’s someone we’ve already seen on the show.
• Addison will be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
• Derek and Meredith’s relationship will hit a roadblock when one of her exes shows up on her doorstep with one thing on his mind.
So which of these do you think is most likely?
Izzie reuniting with her daughter seems very likely to me.
Oh, and btw, Michael doesn’t think Meredith is going anywhere:

Let’s start thinking about what will happen though. Izzie and George hooking up? Hmm… lol. I don’t think Addison is going to die .. not if she’s getting her own show. Unless the show is all about her dealing with a life-threatening illness that forces her to leave Seattle Grace?
Wouldn’t it be an awesome twist if Izzie’s daughter turned out to be the little blond girl at the ferryboat crash!!! The one that tells McDreamy that Merideth is floating in the ocean!!!! I can’t wait to find out what happens this show is GREAT

We’ve been waiting for this for quite a while. Her daughter was supposed to be… 11? 9? I can’t remember.

I agree with Jenns post. It would be awesome if Izzies daughter was on the ferryboat crash, although I don’t think it can be the little girl who pointed out where Meredith was, because towards the end of last weeks episode it showed the little girl reuniting with her Mother.
I think that Finn [I think that was what his name was] will be the one to appear on Merediths doorstep, which will cause things to get messy. I really like Addison. I don’t want her to be diagnosed with a life-threatning illness, I think it’s gonna be up to her or McSteamy to save Merediths life tomorrow. I would also be sad to see Christina and Burke break it off.
I have seen rumors that the last episode of the season is going to be the one tomorrow. that’s not true right? it can’t be since there’s still so much left that’s “supposed to have before the end of the season” and there’s no way they could fit it in tomorrows episode especially with all the drama they have to clear up in tomorrows episode.

this is an great show. Meredith will be in acoma and when she comes out, she will not remember Derek. With that Dr.McSteamy nwill try to sweep Meredith off her feet. Dreamy and Steamy are gonna have a go out. lol will see tomorrow

Callie being pregnant & who’s the dad would be too soap opera, but I could see her as pregnant & us knowing who the dad is. Addison won’t get sick, it ruins her moving to another hospital.W/ the bad press, I could see Burke leaving, although his acting abilities shouldn’t be judged.Look at the Dixie Chicks, they made it and so what if he’s stupid about life – he’s supposed to ACT, his personal views are his own -even if they are stupid. I just like his character now, I don’t think about him as a regular person. I think he and Christina make good sense. Blond little girl should definitely be her daughter-cool twist!Meredith’s ex will show up for an episode to stir the pot, but she won’t care, she loves Der and always has, she won’t blow it.
Burke and Cristina are NOT going to break up. I don’t think TR Knight or Isiah Washington is that low to put personal issues in priority over your career (plus, who would leave Grey’s Anatomy, it’s everyone’s dream acting job).
Callie pregnant definitely could happen. It would be predictable, but it could happen. For some reason I’m doubting it though.
Izzie and George are NOT gonna hook up. I hope. (Unless it’s some act of desperation. Like the time Izzie hooked up with Alex.)
First thing I thought when I read Izzie could find her daughter was the one so many of you guys have had: it’s the quiet ferryboat girl!!!! They look so much alike, and plus, she seems like a lot of importance to the plotline, didn’t she? Maybe it has to do with why the girl is so quiet. I’m not sure. And guys the mom of the ferryboat girl could have adopted or (oooh) kidnapped her.
Addison with a life-threatening disease? Could happen, since her role on the show isn’t too dramatic right now. If she did get such a disease, there will be a whole dramatic conversation with Alex. I just see it.
I don’t think the show will have Meredith and Derek’s relationship in trouble AGAIN. It’s happened too many times.
I think the most likely is the Izzie-daughter happening.
Ok I think that Mer’s mom will be the one to save her. I do not know how it will play out but she will die and be in the place Meredith is at now and she wll tell her that she is not plain and she is proud of her and that will let Meredith be able to move on and be happy with Derek. I hope that I am right.
Its definately that Callie is pregnant. I read that someone on the show reveals that they are pregnant!!! That one makes the most sense.

I think that the twist of teh ferry girl being izzie’s daughter would be great. Also I think that Meredith’s mother will have something to do with saving her because the episode in which she gets better came right before teh ferrie incident. Plus, they showed the part of their confrontation before starting the show on thursday(hint anyone?) The derek and meredith breaking u is too played out, won’t happen. The pregnancy, could be and id Izzie and George do hook up just as Callie reveals she is pregnant, even better!
The girl with the high pain threshold would be a good idea, but she was played by Abby Breslin. I don’t think they could book her for a long stint on the show, she’s pretty much the “It” kid right now.

If Cristina and Burke did break up it would be a result of Washington’s off-screen comments and producers make it seem like that’s already been dealt with and he’s not getting fired, so doubtful.

Yes Izzy’s daughter is at least 11 probably 12 by now and that girl was probably only about 7 maximum 9.. but it would be really cool to see them reunited.
Personally I think Callie is pregnant, I agree with most people when they say she did rush into the relationship.

You know, I really enjoy the show a lot and not just because of the hot characters but I think the producers/creators need to stop doing this spin offs and/or overly dramatic things. I mean, drama is good of course, but I was just reading about the spin off with Kate Walsh starring. It’ll definitely be a big career booster for her but at the same time…with too much change the show will lose its appeal. I mean, it’s true that the original cast is always preferred?
I totally agree with Nancy that the show will lose its appeal if one of the characters will leave. Anyway I think it’s really unacceptable if Burke will leave the show just because of the gay slur issue, its very unprofessional of them. The Addison thing is shocking! if it’s true the writers are just finding a tragedy state just to make the series so sad. And a spinoff is just so entirely different and losing Addison just for that! The Izzie and George thing is quite uhm..seeing them together is uhm…weird. The izzie with her daughter thing seems a great story, Callie getting pregnant, possible. Mer and Der just another problem in their relationship.

I’m glad I’m reading this. I missed most of the 1st year, so I’m learning a lot from this. I didn’t even think about Ellis dying-that would make sense.And the daughter being the other girl would make sense too rather than the fairy boat girl if the ages aren’t right. My son is 11 and because he’s got Asperger’s he seems younger & acts around 9 or 10. W/ this girl not speaking, I would wonder if she’s got special needs as well and that’s why she seems smaller/younger-that would addyet another twist. You know soaps though, kids change ages faster than we do.Didn’t you notice that this show had no holiday season, it’s like time is different on this show.I’m counting down for tonight!

OMG! i luv Addison and it would totaly suck if she left the show i meen sure it would do fine without her but losing a character on the show would make it so different because after watching the show for three season you grow bonds with the people on the show. Also what is with George and Izzie “supposabley” hooking up anyways. That would be really wierd it would be like me and my brother hooking up because through the whole show you hear them talking about how there family and all that. And Izzie getting reunited with her daughter is great and that would be a big suprise for the people on the show because no one knows she has a daughter. I can’t bielve that when Meredith’s mom died she showed no emotion at all , i mean i know she didnt have a very strong bond with her mom but still. I’m just glad she didn’t die.
It is kinda weird that Meredith didn’t show any emotion when her Mom died. However, I think them reuniting in Meredith’s “inbetween” phase, may have helped her.

I would hate to see Izzie and George together, they’re so close, and I wouldn’t want it to ruin their relationship. It would be nice if maybe Izzie and Alex hooked up again, that would be cute. But who knows with this whole Jane Dowe thing.
Can I just point out how spot on Crystal was about this weeks episode? A DAY before it aired? That creeped me out in a wierd way, but hi five on that one. I think that ALex will be leaving, and that Izzy’s daughter will be one of those involved in the ferry boat crash. Also, I believe that McVet will make another appearance, but only a single episode, and will be shot down by Meredith again. I am sure the whole Burke scenario is probably a failsafe, incase he goes off his rocker again spouting verbal garbage.
Meredith and derek have conflict every episode, from snoring problems to her “too long bath” so thats a forgone conclusion.
I agree with TKO. I think that Finn will appear in another episode, and hopefully will be shotdown by Meredith. I would hate to see something ruin Derek and Merediths relationship, just when they’re finally good. I really hope he proposes to her sometime before the show ends, that’d be nice. I know that’s probably far in the future though.
I don’t think Alex will be leaving the show, well maybe after this season, but I don’t think it will be anytime soon.
I don’t know maybe this girl may be to old to be Izzy’s daughter, but what about the girl who could not walk upright. Izzy paid all of the money for her surgery so she could have a normal life. She seemed to take a real special interest in that situation. Stating the girl would never have a normal life, never date, never wear high heels. Is that possible?

Ok i heard a rumor that Izzie was leaving the show has anyone else heard of it?
Laura, I heard that show too, but it’s recently been denied… There were some salary issues with Katharine Heigl’s (Izzie) contract because she is not getting the same compensation as other supporting actors such as Sandra Oh (Christine). However, she has a six year contract, and so wouldn’t most likely not leave due to all the legal complications her leaving would create.
As far as what’s going to happen with the show… OMG… I really want Izzie to reunited with her daughter and I really want it to be that little girl that someone else said in a previous comment that was the one that told Dr. Shepard where Meredith was in the water in the Ferry Boat accident eps…
After seeing the preview for next weeks episode i am definately scared that Izzie and George will get together

OK I some new prediction. George and Izzie are going to hook up. if they play it right we won’t be agaisnt it.We see their friendship and not them as a couple so they are going to have to do something to make their interest change so we wont see it as a bad thing.
George will be the one to find Izzie’s daughter and i am not sure if that will be good or bad for Izzie. She maybe mad at George for that or grateful. I hope that everything will be stay smooth for Derek and Meredith. I love them together and they are so cute together. They are going to have a surprise and he is going to ask Meredith to marry him because they can not live with out each other. I think that Denny will be in at least one more show. Remember when Denny says that he does not know why he is still there? It is becasue of Izzie. When she was walking out of the hospital they felt each other? They are going to have to show her moving on so that Denny won’t be caught in between. Other wise why would they have showed it like that? These are just a few of my ideas.

I like George and Izzie hooking up…they seem comfy, which will make them boring and in the end they will grow from being together, but will end up seperating. Callie will most likel be pregnant, but not with George’s kid, even tho I’d like it if he didn’t find out until the baby was due or something dramatic and shallow like that. I think the girl who had the incredible treshold could be Izzie’s daughter, but it turned out to be someone else…the bone marrow girl, which was cool enough! I want them to have a bond tho.
Mer and Dreamy will just have a relationship problem, but I can see Steamy pushing Mer to dig deep within her…that may cause the rift. I would love to see Mer get pregnant…that would help her character develope. I do think that McVet shows up again…its really predictable! I rather have someone from her past. Since the closets are opening (Izzie)…I’d like everyone’s past to revealed bit by bit. that would be interesting. I like the new intern, Mer’s 1/2 sister. that will DEF be interesting since she did flirt with dreamy making tht the highlight of his week!
Burke leaving the show seems right, bc Christina can hook up with someone else…she wanted Burke in the begining bc he was the best, and she wanted to be in his spotlight only than did they ended up hooking up. Christina needs to be someone tho, or have a random fling…
Something needs to be done with Steamy, he needs to have a visit from a previous lover, or get someone pregnant (maybe even Callie)…shallow ppl deserve eachother…he could maybe have a beautiful kid with Addie. that would be fun. I think they do feel for eachother…stringes left untied.
I think that Callie getting knocked up is possible but way too predictable but still could happen. Izzie being reuninted with her daughter also seems probable to me because we met her in 3.22. If you’ve seen the ep you know what I’m talking about.
Addison getting a life threatening desease dosen’t seem likely to me because she’s left Seattle Grace to go to the spin off called Private Practice.
