According to our dear friend Michael Ausiello of TV Guide, at least one of the following things will occur before the end of the season:
• After breaking things off with Cristina, Burke will transfer to another hospital.
• Callie will reveal she’s pregnant.
• Izzie and George will hook up.
• Izzie will be reunited with her daughter, and it’s someone we’ve already seen on the show.
• Addison will be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
• Derek and Meredith’s relationship will hit a roadblock when one of her exes shows up on her doorstep with one thing on his mind.
So which of these do you think is most likely?
Izzie reuniting with her daughter seems very likely to me.
Oh, and btw, Michael doesn’t think Meredith is going anywhere:

Let’s start thinking about what will happen though. Izzie and George hooking up? Hmm… lol. I don’t think Addison is going to die .. not if she’s getting her own show. Unless the show is all about her dealing with a life-threatening illness that forces her to leave Seattle Grace?
I totally agree with Nancy that the show will lose its appeal if one of the characters will leave. Anyway I think it’s really unacceptable if Burke will leave the show just because of the gay slur issue, its very unprofessional of them. The Addison thing is shocking! if it’s true the writers are just finding a tragedy state just to make the series so sad. And a spinoff is just so entirely different and losing Addison just for that! The Izzie and George thing is quite uhm..seeing them together is uhm…weird. The izzie with her daughter thing seems a great story, Callie getting pregnant, possible. Mer and Der just another problem in their relationship.

i think that Izzie’s daughter being reunited with her would be awesome. Not sure it would be the ferry boat girl tho. I can definitely see Callie being pregnant. Tho i do like Callie and George together…i actually think it *would* be interesting if he wasn’t the dad. I also am pretty positive that Mer isnt gonna die…pretty sure it will be her mother that will be the one to die. makes good sense to me. I dont care too much for burke as a character or as a real person. never really liked him before all the controversy neways so i wouldnt mind it if he left the show. But i guess we’ll c what goes down tomorrow. :)

Well, if the rumors about a DRUNKEN hookup are right, then Izzie and George make sense. I guess Alex and Izzie, but that wouldn’t be so surprising. Maybe Christina and Alex. YUCK. I wonder who the second person to die is. I love love love this show.

I’m glad I’m reading this. I missed most of the 1st year, so I’m learning a lot from this. I didn’t even think about Ellis dying-that would make sense.And the daughter being the other girl would make sense too rather than the fairy boat girl if the ages aren’t right. My son is 11 and because he’s got Asperger’s he seems younger & acts around 9 or 10. W/ this girl not speaking, I would wonder if she’s got special needs as well and that’s why she seems smaller/younger-that would addyet another twist. You know soaps though, kids change ages faster than we do.Didn’t you notice that this show had no holiday season, it’s like time is different on this show.I’m counting down for tonight!

I don’t like that in the preview for tonight they say “devastating conclusion.” I know something bad is going to happen and that we aren’t gonna like it…

OMG! i luv Addison and it would totaly suck if she left the show i meen sure it would do fine without her but losing a character on the show would make it so different because after watching the show for three season you grow bonds with the people on the show. Also what is with George and Izzie “supposabley” hooking up anyways. That would be really wierd it would be like me and my brother hooking up because through the whole show you hear them talking about how there family and all that. And Izzie getting reunited with her daughter is great and that would be a big suprise for the people on the show because no one knows she has a daughter. I can’t bielve that when Meredith’s mom died she showed no emotion at all , i mean i know she didnt have a very strong bond with her mom but still. I’m just glad she didn’t die.

It is kinda weird that Meredith didn’t show any emotion when her Mom died. However, I think them reuniting in Meredith’s “inbetween” phase, may have helped her.
I thing George still likes Meredith, does anybody agree?
I would hate to see Izzie and George together, they’re so close, and I wouldn’t want it to ruin their relationship. It would be nice if maybe Izzie and Alex hooked up again, that would be cute. But who knows with this whole Jane Dowe thing.

Can I just point out how spot on Crystal was about this weeks episode? A DAY before it aired? That creeped me out in a wierd way, but hi five on that one. I think that ALex will be leaving, and that Izzy’s daughter will be one of those involved in the ferry boat crash. Also, I believe that McVet will make another appearance, but only a single episode, and will be shot down by Meredith again. I am sure the whole Burke scenario is probably a failsafe, incase he goes off his rocker again spouting verbal garbage.
Meredith and derek have conflict every episode, from snoring problems to her “too long bath” so thats a forgone conclusion.

I agree with TKO. I think that Finn will appear in another episode, and hopefully will be shotdown by Meredith. I would hate to see something ruin Derek and Merediths relationship, just when they’re finally good. I really hope he proposes to her sometime before the show ends, that’d be nice. I know that’s probably far in the future though.
I don’t think Alex will be leaving the show, well maybe after this season, but I don’t think it will be anytime soon.

I don’t know maybe this girl may be to old to be Izzy’s daughter, but what about the girl who could not walk upright. Izzy paid all of the money for her surgery so she could have a normal life. She seemed to take a real special interest in that situation. Stating the girl would never have a normal life, never date, never wear high heels. Is that possible?

I really really hope that they don’t take Burke out of the show…i agree wit what people have said…the show would definetely not be the same without him and i really like him with christina right now…hahaa…the first thought that came to my mind was the silent girl as izzie’s daughter too – that would be cool…george and izzie would be SO GROSS…i don’t think kate walsh should do a spin off show…it would be wierd…sooo excited for the next episode of grey’s!!! the 3 part mini series was sooo intense! i think after all that happened…it seems unlikely that meredith and derek’s relationship will b as rocky…but then again…it seems that their relationship is always rocky :(

Laura, I heard that show too, but it’s recently been denied… There were some salary issues with Katharine Heigl’s (Izzie) contract because she is not getting the same compensation as other supporting actors such as Sandra Oh (Christine). However, she has a six year contract, and so wouldn’t most likely not leave due to all the legal complications her leaving would create.
As far as what’s going to happen with the show… OMG… I really want Izzie to reunited with her daughter and I really want it to be that little girl that someone else said in a previous comment that was the one that told Dr. Shepard where Meredith was in the water in the Ferry Boat accident eps… :D

OK I some new prediction. George and Izzie are going to hook up. if they play it right we won’t be agaisnt it.We see their friendship and not them as a couple so they are going to have to do something to make their interest change so we wont see it as a bad thing.
George will be the one to find Izzie’s daughter and i am not sure if that will be good or bad for Izzie. She maybe mad at George for that or grateful. I hope that everything will be stay smooth for Derek and Meredith. I love them together and they are so cute together. They are going to have a surprise and he is going to ask Meredith to marry him because they can not live with out each other. I think that Denny will be in at least one more show. Remember when Denny says that he does not know why he is still there? It is becasue of Izzie. When she was walking out of the hospital they felt each other? They are going to have to show her moving on so that Denny won’t be caught in between. Other wise why would they have showed it like that? These are just a few of my ideas.

What if the girl, that played one of the schoolkids in the first episode of season 3 maybe she is izzie daughter. The girl was blond and about the age that Izzie’s daughter is.
