According to Michael Ausiello … well, it’s hard to say exactly what happens to Derek at the beginning of the season as we’ve got several options to choose from.
Our favorite spoiler source said that two of the following options actually happen during the season premiere. One happens “for real” and the other is a figment of Meredith’s imagination.
The possibilities are as follows:
A. Rose stabs Derek.
B. Derek suffers a heart attack and is visited by the ghost of Denny.
C. Dr. Burke returns to Seattle Grace and shoots Derek in the face before turning the gun on himself.
D. In a flashback, we learn that Derek got into a car accident shortly after leaving Meredith in the candle field.
I’m going to say that “C” is definitely not going to happen … this season anyway. I want to say that Meredith imagines “A” and that “D” is what actually happens.

My guess is D and i think it will happen. not imagination.
We know Rose is pregnant because of the september 25 preview. So why would she stab Dereick and have the possibility of going to jail, than haveing her baby?
in less she doesnt keep it or its just a pregenancy scare.

Ha! I so called D after the season finale last spring. I an’t wait to see what happens!!!!
I think that C happens, because we heard that the actor who plays Denny is returning for one epi this season…
I think mer will fall asleep and derek will wake up and itll all be a nightmare
i think D only happens in meredith’s imagination because in one of the sneak peeks bailey calls time of death for derek and we all know that derek isnt going to die
I really hope its D!
But how funny would it be if Burke shot Derek. I mean i love Derek but it just would be so random!

It’s definitly D. They have a new sneak peak up where Derek gets hit by a bus. They also show Bailey calling time of death just as Meredith gets there…there is no way he is really dead though.
Hmm…I CALLED the dang accident just moments after the season finale. Seriously, go look at the posting about it, lol. It’s cliche but I knew it. Dangit! Ahhhhh!!

D sounds too much like desperate housewives to me, and I’m getting bored of the bad endings!
you kno…bad ending are starting to piss of all greys fans…can someone tell shonda or fire her or something, cuz it’d getting old and not maing it as good a show! im pretty sure the 2 are A and D but would both lead to derek dying or no, lets hope rose stabs him in like his leg or something ugh idk there was blood arounf his chest and cars ugh i’m so confused and i hate it!
