The spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy keep pouring in, and here’s a few more, courtesy of Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly.
With regards to Ausiello’s very vague and cryptic clue regarding Denny’s return and Katherine Heigl’s possible departure at the end of the season (which Kristin from E! Online says won’t happen), we got this: “The exit primer I alluded to does not concern any kind of health crisis. Rather, it pertains to a very dark day in Izzie’s professional career that rears its ugly head again.”
A dark day in Izzie’s professional career? Is it something we’ve seen? Something brand new? So many possibilities there.
For those wondering how long Melissa George will be sticking around, Ausiello tells us she’s in for at least eleven episodes, though there doesn’t seem to be an “end date” for her character. She may be around for a long, long while. I expect audience reaction will have some bearing on whether or not the character stays, but then again, it may not.
Also, great news for Battlestar Galactica fans: Mary McDonnell (President Roslin) will be appearing in the November 13 episode as Dr. Virginia Dixon, who Ausiello tells us “shares something in common with a Bones regular.” More on this particular story in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly.
He said “rears it’s head again.” It’s something that has already happened to her. I’m thinking the LVAD thing is coming back to haunt her in a big way.

I don’t really like Sadie’s character I think after the whole secret intern club she should of left the show
her sticking around now is just boring to me, i have yet to see her real influence in the series. Izzie is really freaking me out like wtf who sees dead people
I hope she is leaving the show at the end of the season after her comment about the writers and her denying the emmy nod, that was just rude to me after the show gave her her big break she is going to snob them like that so not cool. but i love izzie i just wish denny was alive or somethin then it would seem more realistic and interesting, having an affair with dead people is not really that interesting. I hope she doesn’t have a brain tumor and surprises the hell out of us fans, she should just like go away like addison, infact i think i would watch Private Practice if Izzie was on it that would be cool. as for the whole dr. dixion i think she is cool as a guest not permanent everytime i watch Grey’s I miss Burke like he really needs to come back
