Michael Ausiello had lots of spoilerish news this week with regards to Grey’s Anatomy. For all of you DennyGhost/Izzie haters, bad news. It looks like the storyline will be around until at least February. At which point it may or may not come to a halt. Perhaps they’re gauging audience reaction? I can only hope so.
Mary McDonnell will return to the show during the December 4th episode (5.10 “All By Myself”). This will mark the second of her three episode arc. Nothing specific to report about her storyline, only that she will be back.
Anyone else wondering whether or not the writers plan to go anywhere with the McSteamy/Lexie flirtations? More on that after the jump!
It looks like Lexie and Mark go to “first base in early ‘09.” I’m sort of looking forward to that. How do you feel about it? I know a lot of you have different ideas as to who Mark should be with. Although, “first base” is hardly headed-down-the-isle material.
Finally, a reader asked how come ABC had no trouble with the guy-on-guy make-out sessions on Brothers & Sisters but seemed to recoil at the thought of a lesbian relationship on Grey’s and Ausiello replied that the issue – he thinks – wasn’t the lesbian relationship itself, but rather Callie/Erica and specifically Erica herself. They apparently hated the character. According to an ABC insider, “In the process of doing some maintenance polling, the sample group for Grey’s hated the Callie/Erica coupling while still liking Callie.”
So there you go. Maybe it wasn’t an “Argh! Down with the lesbians!” thing. No idea what that means for the future of bisexual Callie.

Izzie/DeadDenny till february? i personally dont like the izzie/denny storyline so this just means everyone else who doesnt like it will hav to put up with it till then
I love the DennyGhost/Izzie storyline. It is funny and will be interesting to see where it is going. Not so sure I like Mark and Lexxie together, being Merideth’s sister and she seems tooyoung for him. Find him a Dr or at least a 3rd year resident, or a nice nurse so he can have a life without being a manwhore. How about Rose? That should shake Addison up when you do the cross-over. And like it that Erica is gone. I think Callie should realize she isn’t bi and maybe pursue Mark as more than a friend.
Izzie/Denny are truly dynamite together but since he’s dead it’s very hard to enjoy this storyline knowing the romance cannot last. Lexie & Mark does not appeal to me. He needs someone to match him and completely knock him off his feet. She just doesn’t seem to be that person at all. I get quite tired of her most of the time actually.
Perhaps it’s time to bring in a love interest for Dr. Bailey; not that would be dynamite.

Sloan and Lexie– hmm it might be interesting but I am just not enjoying Denny– he is dead- we need to get over it..
I love Izzie and Denny there the reason I watch this show every week, I tune in to see what’s going to happen with them they are meant to be together, while I like Izzie, I really want her to be with Denny, maybe if she died of a brain tumor she could finally be with the love of her life Denny!!! Lexie is way to young for Mark, he needs someone that he could have a long term, serious relatioship, Lexie in my opinion is certainly not his type.
I love dead denny cos I always thought Izzie had the potential to go crazy and it’s entertaining seeing it happen. It’s also a really good depiction of insanity/hallucination. Hate Sadie. I can just tell she’s a character that will annoy me (possibly more than Izzie used to). Hate Sallie. It makes no sense and I really think it’s about time they get round to pursuing whatever is between Callie and Mark. Hate Mark/Lexie. Lexie is an annoying child. She needs to grow up and get over her klepto tendencies. Christina/Hunt is great and I was getting used to Callie/Hahn with the firm belief that it would eventually be over and Callie would end up with Mark – but that storyline seems to have disappeared.
I am so into the Mark and Lexie storyline. He is developing into a more interesting character, not just the philandering manwhore but a real person with a history. I would love for him to find that someone special. They are both kind of lost in the world and lonely – maybe they could bring out the best in each other. I’m all for more focus on Mark.
I love the idea of Lexie and McSteamy together. I think they are both lonely and would compliment each other very well. He needs someone to make him a better person and she needs someone strong to help her grow a backbone! I hated the Callie/Hahn thing–No chemistry what so ever! IMO. I didn’t mind the Denny/Izzie thing at first, but now it’s gotten too weird for me. It would’ve made more sense if he was there because of her fear or reservations in starting a serious relationship with Alex or because of that patient from whom she stole the heart from, but now they’re doing the nasty!! Too far out there for me!!

I read in EW that Chyler Leigh (“Little Grey”) is pregnant in real life. I wonder if they will write that into the storyline with McSteamy. What if he gets her pregnant on the show?! I think that would/could go in so many directions. But how cheesy if Mer/Der and his bestfriend and her sister both got together… I don’t know just throwing out my thoughts.
why did you folks kill of denny ?and the story of izzie and denny is silly i thinnk you folks should let it go and have izzie get along with her life with izzie…and if you folks want denny back in the show permanelly have him come into the picture with someone else body and who has the same kind of personailty and make izzie fall in love with this person…i think mark and callie makes a great couple together and should feature them in more storyline and also give george more time in the show and i feel that mark and callie are very funny together and are a cute couple…thank you
