It doesn’t seem like Ausiello has made up his mind on whether or not to tell us who the bride and groom is going to be during the May 7 episode of Grey’s Anatomy, but he’s taken to telling us who it’s not going to be. If you follow him on Twitter, he’s been dropping some hints and crossing out couples from the list of possibilities.
After the jump, I’ll give you the latest couple that’s – according to him – not going to be married during the wedding episode, and then we’ll see who’s left.

So here’s what we’ve got. We’ve got sources all over the place telling us it’s not going to be Meredith and Derek. Then Ausiello posted on Twitter that it’s not going to be Owen and Cristina. He followed that up recently by saying that it would also not be the Chief and Adele.
In his latest spoiler party, he crossed yet another couple off. The latest couple that it’s not going to be? Lexie and Mark.
So if we’re taking all of these spoilers to heart, who’s left from the main cast? Pretty much just Izzie and Alex.
I know some of you have asked why we’re not including Arizona and Callie in the options, and it’s mainly that they keep throwing around “bride and groom” very specifically. I think it if was going to be Callie and Arizona there’d be more to hint at that kind of twist. For that reason, I’m thinking it’s likely not going to be them. But you never know, I suppose.
Storyline wise, the couple that makes the most sense is Meredith and Derek. And it does appear that there’s a wedding for them planned in that episode. But who actually ends up getting married, if it’s not MerDer? All spoilers are pointing to Alex and Izzie. Unless I’m totally overlooking another obvious choice.

I’m thinking Izzie throws herself into planning merediths wedding thinking that she herself won’t have a chance to have won, cause she’s dying, and some how some way the wedding turns into her own….just a though….ONE MORE WEEK! THANK GOD!

Izzie is the bride. Look at Katie’s hair. Look at JC’s tux from pics leaked yesterday. Now look at Mer and look at Der. They aren’t dressed like they’re the ones getting married.

What if they’re all just planning it as mer/ders wedding but they already know its for izzie like a dying wish (but she better not die….) and so they “give” her the wedding knowing its everything she would have wanted since she palnned it herself. Btw. Look at all the pics of people on lunch. Katherine is the only 1 not in “wedding attire” so she must have changed out of her dress.

Looking at the pictures of Izzie from the set, I’d say that it’s definitely Izzie/Alex. Katherine Heigl changed out of her costume, probably because a wedding dress would be too telling. Derek doesn’t really look like he’s dressed to get married.
Also, they’ve pretty much ruled out everyone else. lol
watch it be thatcher getting remarried! lol
Noooo! I was really hoping it would be Meredith and Derek. Now I’m thinking it will be Alex and Izzie instead.
