Well, this is an interesting (but not all that unexpected) development. In order for Gwen Stefani to perform in Malaysia, a predominantly Muslim country, she will have to wear a hijab. A hijab looks like this:
She’s also been told that there will be no shouting, jumping, or obscene singing or gesturing. Basically, they are afraid that she will promote a “Western lifestyle” and this is not acceptable. I’m wondering how she’s going to get around this – or if she will even bother?
