I have read on several websites that Miley Cyrus confirmed in an interview that the hit Disney Channel show Hannah Montana is being canceled. Here’s what Miley supposedly said in an interview with someone:
“The past 3 series have been great. My dad and I have been a good team and became closer. I was recently talking with the crew and they said that Hannah Montana is going off air this Spring. They believe they should make room for new shows and give people a new career with Disney. I am very upset and bewildered by this. I wish everyone luck in the cast. It has been a once in a lifetime ride through the show.”
Disney spokesperson Janey Moore confirmed it by saying, “I am very happy that people will start a new life with Disney. Hannah Montana is unfortunately getting axed. The cast are very upset by this. “
They are also saying that Disney Channel fans in the US and UK will be told the news this February.

This is ridiculous! I don’t think Disney will follow through when the profits drop.

I really don’t understand why they would axe a show like Hannah Montana.
I don’t think ANY other Disney show pulled in so many viewers and so much money…
I don’t really get it.

I kind of understand it know. Miley has been talking about a Hannah Montana Movie that is supposidly being filmed this year and It makes sense to end it with a movie.
I am surprised, if this is true, because Hannah Montana brings in sooooo much money for Disney. Axing the show seems kind of stupid, but i understand if they want some new, fresh faces, but then why are they making a show with the Jonas Brothers, who are already just as popular as Miley?

I CANT BELIEVE IT!! well i heard from my friend that shes getting red high lights and said that shes too old for hannah montana now. but i think i believe this website more. i cant believe it i love that show, i honestly love disney, ill be watching it 24.7, but i hate how they cut other shows just to add more. cant they just have all the shows on at once??

Hannah Montana’s not going anywhere.
So Miley haters back off; dont watch the show if you dont like it. Miley said in a recent interview that shes only done 2 seasons of Hannah Montana and wants to work on it for a while more. She said probably around 2 years more. She said they will begin work on the third season after they after finished with The Hannah Montana Movie, & that as long as the kids still want it, they’ll keep making new episodes. Miley clearly pointed out in the interview that she realizes that the reason that she got so famous is BECAUSE of Hannah Montana so she’s going to keep working on it. So as you can see there is much more Hannah to come. Im really happy about it too, i love Hannah Montana, and Miley! [:

It would be cool to see a lot more happen before the show stops happening.
