I am totally bummed that I found out about these auditions a day late and I am sorry for all of you who could have made it to these. I will find out what other auditions are happening and let you know. I do a lot of digging and researching for audition information and sometimes info slips through the cracks! Argh.
On Sunday, March 16th in Austin, Texas, they held auditions for a supporting role on the Hannah Montana movie. The auditions were for one character only named Travis. The cool thing is that in the audition information, they give us a little spoiler about the movie.
Here is the description of the character named Travis:
“TRAVIS 15-17 (The actor who plays this role MUST NOT BE OLDER THAN 17; CAN NOT TURN 18 until August 15, 2008 or after. ID’s will be checked at auditions) – Miley’s love interest, Travis is a genuine Southern cowboy hunk, working as a farmhand for the summer. Miley was his first crush, and he now chooses to date Miley over Hannah when she returns to her roots. Though upset when he learns her “secret”, thinking she’s been playing games with him, in the end he understands why she created Hannah, and encourages her to continue living her dream…”
So, Miley/Hannah does have some sort of live interest in the movie. Move over Jake Ryan, here comes a Southern cowboy hunk named Travis!
