Billy Ray Cyrus has confirmed that season 4 of the hit Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” will be the final season.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Billy Ray said “Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year,” Cyrus said. “She didn’t want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there’s a moral to the story, to where it doesn’t just end and go away and that’s it. She wanted there to be an official ending to ‘Hannah Montana.’”
The final11 episodes and one-hour long season finale will be shot and aired in 2010.
“We’ll start (shooting) season 4 sometime around the end of January,” Billy Ray said. “We have to be done by the first week of June in the summer of next year.”
Of course, after saying this is it for Hannah Montana, when asked if things could change he said, “Anything is possible in Hollywood,” he laughed.

I Would to see Season 4 of Hannah Montana and have more Guest Stars like the Muppets mostly, Chance Craword, Chris Brown, Resse Whiterspoon, Robert Pattinson and maybe Lilly might even get a chance to sing one her songs like All The Way Up

I am so happy that there is going to be a 4th season. I wish it wouldn’t end but I understand Mileys growing up & so is the rest of the cast. They’re focusing on more things, biggger things. I’ve enjoyed watching Hannah Montana so much & I love all the cast members. The music in the show was sooo amazing. My favorite was I wanna know you & He could be the one. I know Miley has been through a lot in life & people making rumors about her & talking smack is not helping. For example, people saying shes becoming like britney, I agree with her. That is a wonderful compliment. Britney’s amazing. Britney has had her ups & downs just like ALL of us, but shes still on top. Mileys growing up. Get used to it now. Miley I love you so much & hopefully I could meet you some day. BTW yer new cd was awsome. I love Party In The Usa. God Bless You <3

I think i will be sad hannah montana is finished when season 4 is over but I think they are going in different directions and they want to move on to bigger things in life. I also agree with Miley that she doesn’t want it just to end, their should be a moral.
Personally, with the talent on the show, over season 4, Oliver and Lilly both get contracts with record companies and start opening for Hannah. It would take on a whole new life showing life on the road and could continue for future seasons or it could be a conclusion, however Disney wanted to take it.

awwwww, I’m just starting season 3 now, so its nice to know that theres another season to look forward to, its a shame it has to end like, its the type of show that really makes you feel happy, but I guess she cant be hannah forever, Shame its only going to be 11 episodes, but is it true that they are all one hour long? or is that the last episode.

I am glad there is going to be a 4th season, my daughter loves it and frankly so do I and I’m 24. Season 3 has just confused me a bit and they really need to fix it in season 4. They did the 1 hr “He could be the one” episode but then just dropped that storyline and did not mention it anymore. I think that was a major boo boo of the writers. I love Cody Linley and he should be back in season 4, the whole season, i think his character is gook for Miley Stewart.

Hannah montana is really cool it sux that season 4 is going to be the last because its the best show ever i will really miss watching never before seen episodes of hannah montana and just watching it over and over but i hoe that they will ake more movies but with miley, oliver, lilly, jackson, rico or Billy ray cyrus all of them are great actors and i wish them all a happy life in hollywood and wish i could of been even a girl on the beach just to say “i was on hannah montana and i loved it” I wish the show would keep running just for the fans sake i really will miss it and wish it was just going to be more than 11 eisodes and 1 long one i really wish it would just keep going

I don´t want Hannah Montana to end!!!! It is such a good show. Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchell Musso, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jason Earles and aal the rest of the actors have such a great talent. When Hannah montana ends all of the episodes will still be in my heart.
I’m so proud of Miley’s grown up-like behavior! That is absolutely wonderful that she wanted to finish Hannah Montana off with a bigger and better episode. I will, yes, miss Hannah Montana, but I understand, too, that she is growing up as well as the other cast members. I do not think that it will be the end of Miley’s career. I’m sure she will still be an actor/singer. That is all she EVER wanted to do in life, so think about it. Why would she give it up? She wouldn’t. All of the actresses/actors have amazing talents, and I wish them all good luck. Any of you who critisize Miley and/or any other members on Hannah Montana need to look at this article. She’s an amazing person wanting to leave a permanent influence on people’s lives through her show. Good job, Miley!!!! You will always be a role-model to me! =)
Obviously it has to end sometime, but why only 11 episodes!I wonder if she will just abandon Hannah or tell everyone it’s her?Maybe a farewell concert like in that episode where Jackson doesn’t want to go to college. The show always makes me laugh.ALWAYS.Why does she want out?It’s what made her famous,she can’t leave!♪♪Don’t leave Miley!♪♪

i can’t believe hannah montana is almost over it’s my favorite tv show i never miss not one new episode i love hannah montana. miley helped me relize that all i ever really wanted to do is be an actress on disney channel. it really does stink that its gonna end. i wish the best for miley, her family and the cast of hannah montana.
