'Hannah Montana the Movie' Release Date Moved to April 10, 2009

Miley Cyrus films new beach movie in Malibu

Disney has issued a press release and announced that “Hannah Montana The Movie” release date has moved to April 10, 2009. That’s three weeks earlier than their original May 1, 2009 date.

The HM Movie will be competing in the box-office against anime adaptation “Dragonball” and comedy “Observe and Report”. A week later (April 17th), Zac Efron’s “Me and Orson Welles” debuts in theaters.

Who do you think will win that box office race? My money’s on Hannah Montana.

DEFINITELY WONT BE WATCHING HANNAH MONTANA!!!!!!!!!
    –zac will win.
[miley looks stupid and i don't know why she's making a movie if she doesn't want to work with Disney anymore...]

I also put my $ on HM, I think I’ll go and watch it if I can.

  4. Michael

Miley will definitely win the race.

HM, for sure. With all those screaming little kiddies out there who worship Miley, it will def be HM movie!

Not to be mean, but i think that it’s stupid to move the release date for the Hannah Montana movie, I mean like who cares about competition. No matter what date, she’s gonna win so who cares whenever the release date is. (BTW, my money is on Hannah Montana.Like who would watch the anime movie????)

  7. Michael

Sierra just because you don’t care doesn’t mean it’s “stupid.” You don’t know the exact reasoning for the move of the release date anyway, so… why make a judgment like that?

    she willllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Regardless of what some people think, any quote on quote scandal will do 0 damage to ticket revenue for this movie, she was talented long before she was famous, and that seperates her from people like Paris Hilton, who have been famous for years and have never had a viable source of income other than skankiness.

  10. me *surprisingly*

no doubt HM is gonna win this one, seriously cmon have you guys watched the trailers for the other three *shivers*.

Firstly we have dragonball, I have to say that trailer exceeded all my expectations, I actually got physically and mentally ill watching that o.o oh and then we still have observe and report, YAY another comedy with no comedy -__-” see the point.
And at last I almost fell aasleep watching the trailer for the third one, and that were only 2 minutes of the whole thing o.o imagine what the full one would be like.

In comparison to all that the HM movie has comedy + a good message in the movie

So who’s gonna win this race is pretty clear to me…

excuse me zac effron is way better that hannah or what ever her name is 17 again best movie in the world apart from Twilight of course!

  12. me * again*

Excuse me to, but have you actually read the text above. I never saw one bit that mentioned 17 again starring Zac Efron. It mentioned me and Orson Welles. Another thing, a movie isn’t good just because a certain person acts in it. It depends on the movie. So also Zac efron can act in movies that suck. Thank you.
