Is it the New Year already? It snuck up on me while I was gone!
Well, happy new year to everyone and I hope you had a great holiday. I was away for the second half of December and didn’t get to greet you the proper holiday cheers – Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza!
And of course, a very prosperous new year to you all. You have been a awesome group of readers here at Superhero Profiles and I really want to thank you for staying with me. I am so excited for this year!
Smallville is returning next Thursday January 15!!! Clark Kent is racing his inner superhero, and his enemies are getting more villainous and powerful. Top on the list is Doomsday, who just ran off with Clark’s best friend. But don’t write off Lex Luthor just yet!
Heroes has a new project up its sleeve with the fourth volume “Fugitives”. Bryan Fuller is now onboard to bring the series back to its season 1 formula. We’ve got so much to cover, now that it’s only a month away till the February 2 opening. The cast are promoting and we’re right on their heels.
Also, I’m covering a new show that got me hooked during the holidays: KYLE XY! It’s about a teenager that was bio-engineered to have superhuman abilities. The ABC Family series is a hit since it started in 2006, and it’s now on its third season this Monday January 12. I have a lot of catching up to do, but I’ll get right on it. The season 2 DVD hit stores on December 30, so if you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to get a copy.
Very cool genre (scifi/comics/superhero) movies are coming out this year too – Watchmen, Star Trek XI, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Astro Boy!
