On behalf of everyone here at PittWatch, I’d like to say happy birthday Angelina Jolie! Angie turns 34 today, and look how much she’s done in her life in that short time. She’s found an amazing love, adopted three beautiful children, given birth to three other beautiful children, filmed a ton of movies, started charitable organizations, done countless hours of work with the UNHCR… and now she’s considered the most powerful celebrity in the world via Forbes.
That’s really impressive, don’t you think?!
Salt is finishing up its final week of filming, so there’s a good chance that Angelina will have to work on her birthday, but that’s okay – many of us have to do that too on our special day. Unless she’s filming for 24 hours straight, I’m sure there will still be plenty of time for Brad Pitt, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne to spoil her. And hey, there’s always the weekend, that’s how I usually handle it when my birthday falls during the week!
I wonder what they’ll get for Angelina’s birthday and what they’ll do?
Regardless, I hope she has a fabulous birthday!

I have read the article she wrote in Time Magazine, and indeed it was well written and direct to the point. Seldom you would see a beautiful celebrity who got brains and good heart as well. More power to you Angie. God bless you and your family always .

Let us put things in proper perspective. Whether you like Angelina Jolie or not, it doesn’t matter. What matters most is the content of the article.
The article is trying to let the people understand and be concerned about, something what is of great importance than the trivial list of so & so or whatever in which a lot of people would rather debate who’s no.1,2,3…..just for entertainment purpose and ego boosting, and for all we know, the people on the list seemed not to care at all.
The messenger just happens to be Angelina Jolie who wrote that piece to get the message across in her own capacity or own little way. She is just doing her part as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, as a member of Council on Foreign Relations and most of all as a citizen of the world.
Her writing the piece certainly caught our attention, whether we admit it or not.

it’s true about Darfur, now it the issue’s of genocide there are almost gone because we people are trying to shut our eyes and ears about it.

Gena, She dose get some credit from Time Mag, the International Comm and with Forbs naming her the most Powerful. It is a pity that it all get lost over GOSSIP the US has become the where to go for gossip, roumor and everything that is bad. But this proves that the family has thier piorities in the right place. The ones who do nothing to help thier fellow human and neighbours get all the praises, sad for us sad indeed.
Happy Birthday Ms Angelina Jolie, you are an extraordinary woman with a very good heart. Wish you all the happiness and peace within. The world wouldn’t be the same without you. You surely make a difference :)
This woman amazes me! How does she find the time to raise 6 kids, shot a movie and still write this wonderful piece for Time mag. She does not get the credit that she really deserves. Hope she had a wonderful birthday. I would love to see the twins, know they have grown so much.
Angie truly is amazing. She really knows how to use her time efficiently and thank goodness she has Brad as a partner.
