It is so hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we all finally got the news we had been waiting for, that the two new Jolie-Pitt twins had been born in France. Time flies!
So now, a whole year later, on behalf of everyone at PittWatch I’d like to wish the happiest of happy birthdays to Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt:
And also to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt:
Happy one year! Heaven knows that babies grow and change so rapidly – I swear there were times I’d put one of mine down to sleep and in the morning they looked different – so the Jolie-Pitt twins must be so big by now. I hope that we’ll have a chance to see them soon although Brad and Angelina have done a really good job of sheltering them from the insanity of life in the limelight. As they get older though, they’ll start going on more and more outings just like Shiloh did and we’ll likely get a peek at how they look now!
Whatever they do to celebrate, I’m sure they’ll have a wonderful day!

angela- That is an adorable picture indeed! Also, although the picture is blurry, it looks like Miss Zee is wearing a purple sleeveless top in them. She was wearing a purple shirt in the photos of Angie taking her and Shi to the dance studio, and a purplish dress in the pictures of her, Angie, Brad, and Shi at the grocery store in late April. Therefore, I’m wondering if she’s on a purple kick now, just as she seemed to be on a pink kick for much of last year? :)
Oh, and I strongly advise that we all avoid reading the comments on the pictures of them flying on Just Jared. I can only imagine what some of the h8teres are saying about Angie flying the girls!
Sherry- Very well said! To add to your comments a bit….Virtually all of us on here get moderated from time to time. Most of the time, it’s also for posts that are actually positive. What happens is that the automatic moderation system looks for certain words and phrases, and if it finds any of those words in a post, it puts the post in moderation.
That insures that spammers, porn, really nasty commments, etc. can’t make their way on here. It can definently get annoying, though, so that’s why some of us have come up with ways to keep from being moderated, such as saying h8ters instead of using the actual word.
As for Angie…I’m sure she wouldn’t intentionally do anything that would put her children in danger. I remember her saying a few years ago (I think it was shortly after Shi was born, but I’m not sure) that, at that point, she didn’t feel she was experienced enough to fly the kids (although if you want to be techincal, she DID fly Shiloh prior to saying that….while Shi was still in her belly. :)). That tells me that obviously she thinks long and hard before making decisions like that. Obviously now that she has a few more years of experience under her belt, she feels safe flying the kids. :)
Dear xpress anything can be scary even walking on the street. Who knows?
There might be some lunatics out there. Angie taking her girls for a flight
is a good experience for the girls.(and the weather was so good so there’s nothing to be afraid of). Now they know that woman like them can do anything. If they determine to do something, they can do it. I think it means a lot to them. I wonder what Angie taught them while they were up there in the sky together. For your information, my comments here had to await for moderation too. It took long time to be posted. I don’t think someone blocks you as long as we give comments in a polite way.
It can be negative but in a creative way not destructive.

One year has gone so quickly.
Xpress she always has an instructor with her kids or no kids if you go look at some of the pictures you will see her instructor!.
Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. Fan from Vietnam so happy to see you are still stopping in at Pittwatch. Two of my children and their families took me out for dinner. It is always so much fun when we are able to get together, laugh, eat and remember the old days.
xpress – calm down, no one was censoring you. On weekends I am not online as often as I am during the week because I’m usually busy doing things with MY family and have less time. I was therefore not able to push your comment out of moderation since I wasn’t here. I was at an outdoor party all day yesterday with my kids, listening to my husband’s band play. By the time we got home it was too late to be getting online to check moderated comments.
As for your question, Angelina has been flying for years now. It wasn’t her first lesson, she has enough experience and obviously she and Brad both feel comfortable in her flying abilities to take the kids. Also, she doesn’t fly alone, so even if there was some sort of tricky situation, she would have help from a more experienced pilot.

shiloh’s so cute. she is following mommy angie everywhere and she was pulling mommy to the jet, she’s like saying, “hurry mommy, let’s go ride the plane!” the vid is kinda blurry because it’s far so you gotta have patience. :)

Thanks for posting the link to your blog, Joliepittfanatic. Since commenting is disabled there, so I’ll respond here. It brought back a lot of fun memories to read your recount of the months leading up to, and after, Knox and Vivienne’s birth. I remember checking the whois data for the domain registrations just as you did, and trying to decide whether it was safe to believe the news of their birth. The name “Vivienne” definitely came as a surprise, but a very happy one!
Remembering all that makes me look forward to news of their next adoption or pregnancy someday in the future. It sure is exciting to wonder about the name, and gender, and personality of the next little Jolie-Pitt.

Just watched the video on JJ and it was hilarious! It seems that Shi will be a little daredevil just like her mum. Did anyone else notice that Angie had some bags in her hands while entering the plane? Maybe those bags had presents for the twins and some clothes for all the children. So maybe the whole family celebrated the twins´ big day in Big Bear.

i know this is pitt fans website. but i really wanna know, speaking of jolie brought her girls to fly with her on her plane the other day, do you mothers truly agree with that? because if i had a pilot license myself with limited flying hours like her, i won’t have guts to bring my little darlings when i fly. thats too scary. i’ll go with a much more experienced pilot. JMO. im just being honest here, as a mother of 3 little bundles.

I’m so eager to see them but of course the last one was when their at the airport. Gosh those beutiful eyes. I looked at the family pictures and makes my day. What a wonderful family.

Have anyone ever seen the video of Angelina and UNHCR from YouTube?
I like it very much. The pictures are so beautiful. It shows some of her works as the Goodwill Ambassador.
She has been visiting more than 20 countries now. This shows how much she’s committed herself to her work. She’s so genuine. I’m glad that some people
after they learn more about what she’s done become her great fan.
I hope she has a very happy family life for the rest of her life.
