Happy sweet 16 to Sofia Vassilieva! I know I’m getting old because the first thing I thought when I realized it was her 16th birthday was that she was just playing the adorable little Eloise a few years ago. Her new spiky hairstyle certainly makes her look like a young woman of 16, but I must admit that I’m hoping she lets her hair keep growing in. I’d miss the old Ariel!
If you can’t get enough of Sofia in Medium season five, you’ll be able to catch her on the big screen soon. My Sister’s Keeper is in post production and Hurt is still listed as in production, but both of these movies should be coming out sometime before the end of 2009. I’m hoping for 2008 releases. We’ve still got over 8 weeks left.

OMG! She’s going to be driving! So glad I’m way past that with my kids – that is a very scary thing when they start to drive on their own.

The rumors are that she had already passed the driving test on the next day. And is driving her car in LA all by herself.
OMG! I don’t know what is scarrier – a just turned 16 year old driving or the fact that she is driving in LA alone!
