So, it seems I have a thing for guys names Alex. Last week it was Alex O’Loughlin, this week it’s sexy Swedish True Blood star, Alex Skarsgard.
Skarsgard was born in Stockholm, Sweden on August 26, 1976 to Swedish film actor Stellan Skarsgard. He began acting at a young age in a variety Swedish television shows and he quickly rose to fame in his homeland.
Upon coming to America he scored bit parts in films like Zoolander, playing dimwitted model Meekus but did not hit it big until his portrayal of uber sexy vampire Eric Northman in the smash hit HBO series True Blood.
Skarsgard has many projects on the horizon including film, Straw Dogs, starring James Marsden and Kate Bosworth which is in pre-production and Metropia staring Vincent Gallo and Juilette Lewis, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival on September 3, 2009.
And it has actually just been brought to my attention that Skarsgard was also in Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi video which was recently nominated at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
