It seems Hayden Panettiere has a lot in common with her TV character Claire Bennet from Heroes.
Claire Bennet has the powers to regenerate parts of her body, virtually making her indestructible and immortal. So Claire has never been afraid to cut her toes, jump from towers, or run into a blazing inferno. She even tried testing her limits when she jumped off the Hollywood sign.
Hayden Panettiere too, likes to live on the edge. That dramatic protest she did in Japan on behalf of the whales? “It rocks my world (laughs)!”, says the actress to Canada Gazette. Hayden adds she is more a hands-on rather than a spectator, and she loves to get involved in everything.
“I was the same way when I was in school,” Hayden recalls. “I enjoy adrenaline, I enjoy having an opinion and standing up for something that I believe in. Putting myself sometimes in the line of danger.”
The energy and vibe of Heroes season 3 is exactly the same way – action, high-energy, adventure and cliff-hangers – tells Hayden of “Volume 3: Villains“. The show will be going back and forth to present and future, and the future Claire will be very different from the present version. To that extent, we all know future Claire is going to shoot future Peter. Peter asked Claire what happened to her in the future, and she sarcastically replies, “I’m special, remember?”
