Hayden Panettiere commented on Republican vice-presidential bet Sarah Palin’s remarks that the media treated her differently because she wasn’t a Democrat.
Hayden told CNS.com at the Declare Yourself Inaugural Ball that she didn’t agree with Palin’s comments. Although the press may portray a celebrity in a “bad light” Hayden Panettiere thinks there are a lot more facts that come with politics, and Palin, as did the other candidates, had all the opportunity to talk about what she was passionate about.
“She spoke all the time about it; so did Biden; so did Obama; so did McCain and it was very obvious what they believed in and what they were. When people at the Republican convention are saying ‘drill baby drill,’ it’s very different than at the Democratic convention.”
